Love to Ride

I love to ride. When I lived in NY state, I was 45 minutes from Hunter. I would ride at aleast once a week every season.
Now I llive in Missouri and have to make plans for a nice vacation next year to either Colorado or Utah.
I ride a Burton Bullet and put Flo step-ins on it last year. Anyone else have Flo's? Like em?

I've been skiing since I was 2 years old almost every year for the past 20 years, and snowboarding for about 4 or 5 years. Although I've gone back to skiing, since snowboarding was quite a bit easier to become good at. Skiing takes more to master which is why I went back to mainly just skiing. I grew up in one of the top ski towns in the North America. Man I can't wait to hit the slopes this winter.

I'll be hitting up Breck, Copper, Vail, and Steamboat here in a few weeks.

i wouldnt suguest flow bindings. and besides, i can strap in faster than someone with flow's.

I used to ski "mary jane" a-lot...back in the late 90's MJ got some of the best snow around, and less crowds than other areas.

Its hard to beat Steamboat tho....Champagne Powder almost every day (we'll so it used to be..before global warming)

I also love Telluride, and Breck.

Breck. is my "Local Fav." as far as resorts go....but overall I'd rather tear-up the backcountry anyday.

When I lived in Nederland, we were at Eldora no less than 4 days a week...usually more.

Damn I love Winter (I feel bad for you guys that don't live in Ski Country)

The only thing I found faster than flows are some old K2 clickers I had. But they were to damn heavy and didnt work well when trying to mount in deep snow.

Flows are much quicker than any stantard binding ive ever used. And they distribute weight eveny over your feet unlike two strap bindings.

i had the clickers to a while a go..the suck ,you can't put them on a downhill..

God you guys are giving me a boner. I can't wait myself to get out there.. I was going to head to Copper (CO) next week but couldn't get my chick to take wednesday off so we could head out that way (its about 800 miles away).. Max, I did Stowe last year for the first time.. Was a good time.. also Smuggs and Jay peak.. at Smuggs we hit it up a day after they got a foot of snow, was one of the heavier powder days I have had.. I'm sure i'll be out that way again (buddy of mine lives in stowe) this year.. Always hit CO every year too, Tahoe every couple years, and Whistler.. holy shit, can't wait to get back there..

I saw a friends video of vancouver they have snow on the ground in the higher parts of north van , must be nice in the hills

Here in the alps...nada It's still too damn hot it was 20°c in many of the hills last week.

please people be more concious of when you drive and if there wasn't a kinder way to commute sometimes. save our snow

Yeahh snowboarding thread can't fuckin wait either. My favorite thing to do when stoned after fucking is snowboardin. We should make a snowboardin thread with pics when it's the season.
