IC Mag Website Redesign: Yes or No?

Although I don't post a lot, I've been here for quite a while now. And I don't think the design of this website has changed in all that time. Don't get me wrong, it's a great site and I spend a bunch of time reading threads here. But that background!?

So, I just want to throw it out there for the members to debate.

Does IC Mag need a site redesign?

Nowadays you can get some pretty decent custom work for cheap, so money shouldn't be an object. Take donations or there may even be members who are web savvy enough to do it, I don't know. But I think that the site could use some updating.

What do other members think?

I think with a forum this size and of this nature security and function are what is most important. I am stubborn even though I know change is good lol but I like it the way it is right now.

Thanks for the feedback folks. No plans to redesign. Last time it was done was in 2009 or so. We are probably going to come up with another template for tablets at some point.

In the meantime ppl can use Tapatalk or our archives to browse the site faster on mobile devices.

We may simplify the menu system at some point.

The layout itself has proven itself fine over many years - well over a decade. Every website can be improved, so this isnt a debate I want to spend too much time on, however, I think there are too many subforums ... (there are subforums of subforums! and most receive very little views), so all they do is add extra convolution to the site in areas that don't need extra-convolution.
