IBS friendly Italian Cannabis Meatballs

So, here's a recipe that requires a food processor and food dehydrator.

Believe it or not, these meatballs WILL taste equally (I think better) than MEAT meatballs. The reason i pick this recipe is it suited this method of cannabis consumption perfectly, and it does not hurt my stomach (No hearburn, stomach cramps or bloating)

Here it is

VERY TASTY Marijuana Italian Meatballs
Category: Raw Foods
Suitable for a: vegan diet, people with IBS (in most cases at least)


Ingredients:

12 oz. white button mushrooms
3/4 c. walnuts
2 T. Italian seasoning
1 t. garlic powder
1 t. celtic sea salt
1 small red pepper
1 small tomato
1/2 oz- 1oz of cannabis.


Instructions:

Blend all the ingredients together in the food processor. Drop them on the teflex sheets (but not necessary, depending on the type of dehydrator you have) in little "meatball size" balls. (They won't form a real ball.) Dehydrate overnight.

I make a marinara and pour it over the meatballs and they are delicious! When i make the marinara I use cannabutter in it.

*The batter looks very light, but darkens to look like meat (and even darker) after they dehydrate.

Then, take your cannabis, finely grind it up, simmer it for 1 hour with a solution of 1 part virgin olive oil or butter(highly recommend it be virgin olive oil) and 3 parts water.

DO NOT USE TOO MUCH OIL, YOUR BODY CAN ONLY ABSORB SO MUCH TILL IT GETS CLOGGED UP AND THATS ALSO WHY PEOPLE TEND TO GET SICK. Not just from the astringents in the plant material. So make about 4 tbsp worth of oil if your going to eat these meatballs in two servings.. yeah they are potent. so adjust the ratios if you'd like for different potencies.

You must stir it often. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU USE A PRESSURE COOKER THOUGH, look up methods of pressure cooking cannabutter in the forum.

However you like to make your weed oil/butter whatever , i'm just giving suggestions, the best way would be to let it all sit for a day in a jar mixed together with the water/oil - then cook it up. then let it sit for 12 hours .... then reheat so you can pour it off as a liquid and screen out the plant material so you don't get sick. I recommend silk screen/ cheese cloth.

once the butter/oil is seperated from the water and made... skim it off and use it in your recipe however you like. As a sauce, as a bather (just cook some olives, garlic, or union whatever into it for 3 min and add it to the meatballs and noodles if you want. It's best to keep it as simple as possible, just use the meatballs and dip them into a homemade sauce of the cannabutter/oil. The less you give the thc to absorb into while in the tummy the better (like bread, try avoiding eating bread....or you wont get as high.. no where near)

The meatballs do a great job at absorbing the sauce and keeping it on. You'll love it!





ALTERNATE METHOD,

before you dehydrate, just add the butter/oil to the mixture, then dehydrate. I don't recommend this though cause i do not know how this will effect the thc and contents in the oil.

yes it is a contradiction, I need to edit that, if i were cooking the meatballs in the pressure cooker it totally wouldn't be raw.

I meant the meatballs were raw food, the oil/cannabutter making proccess is not. I'm so use to making the meatballs themselves without the cannabis so that in general is a raw.

When you combine the two, then it no longer is raw food. But, if you were gutsy and wanted to do what i use to - which is just heat activate the nugs, (170F for about 17 minutes), and just add those dry to the mix. It is completely raw. I just find i get more of a kick using the oil. This actually was my original recipe but... just wanted to make it more potent:thinking:
