Been a busy week to say the least...

We understand the rules of playing here and need to be clear in posts about that. We are not here to sell seeds, but introduce ICMAG to a new collection of genetics. No orders will be taken for seeds and no sales are offered in this thread.

Are you a "not for profit" charity? Who would administer the funds raised?
Being a collective is there a board of directors or will be a Chief financial officer type making financial disbursement decisions?
Is "The Collective" planning on helping to support already existing services and patients groups such as Dr. Jays group "The American Alliance For Medical Cannabis?

The Dr.Jay Collection on Cbay
We would like to take this time to let everybody know about a good cause.

The DrJay Memorial Fund was set up by Nurse Nancy, Jay's wife and their son JP to help fight for patients rights, pay bills and support organizations that make a difference.

Dr. Jay was a lover of cannabis and it's wonderful healing powers. His goals of creating a breeding facility to propogate tropical sativas was cut short due to illness, but the family has continued with his work.

Some of Dr.Jays favorite strains were gifted to him by skilled growers and seed makers all over the world, and in turn, he shared everything. I couldn't continue this paragraph without mentioning a few of Jays favorite people and herbs. Lonestar and the TRC made a huge impact on the meds he had access to. "You mean I can enjoy a strong Indica too". Devestation #1 was an alltime favorite of Jays. I also must mention BOG. Jays Lifesaver and bogglegums were a huge part of his medicine cabinet for it's specific properties. Raco in spain was one of the recipients of Jay's work. Just look at what he has growing these days! All this info is documented.

What does IBC have to do with this?

At the same time IBC took on TRC as a project, we had planned to take on a few other projects, but the TRC became a full time gig and the others got neglected.

With time free to grow, we went into our own plan b and called in the troops.

Alibi will be the first in the Dr.Jay Collection to go on seedbay in the form of an auction.
ALL IBC's part of the proceeds from the auction will go directly from seedbay to Nurse Nancy and the DJMF to use as needed.

Our other client, will have different charity needs and will be announced as soon as details are worked out.

Please do not solicit seed sales as we don't do that.

Look for the Dr.Jay Collection auctions and donation jars wherever you enjoy medical cannabis.

I'd like "Thank You and "the troops" for making this fund-raising effort possible.
Good luck with your bold pioneering endeavor. I for one will be quite interested to see what the various offerings at Seedbay will be.
I'd like to see a mystery mix as an offering...my idea of a good time.

Great... I too had thought someone should make a seedline... as kind of a tribute to remember Dr. Jay and his good works... as I was a recipient of the original TM and the subsquent "Alibi" f2s... from Dr.Jay when he was still with us... needless to say, I treasure them... as his memory, and was glad to have known him, and conversed with him... it is only fitting that his memory and good works be honored... respectively. F1.

Are the seeds selfed off of Dr.J plant?

or are they Texas Mystic F2's

or a Texas Mystic male to his(D.J) "Alibi" pheno?

I can't remember now but Dr.J said it was a pretty unique pheno from the TM gene pool.

No selfed seeds, f2 selected phenotype if I am correct. I know he also did a bx to the Arcata cut. Stand by.
We will do a DrJayMystery batch for sure.
Additional seeds will be announced as they are harvested.
Remember folks - this is a donation drive - not a seed selling thread!
