I would like your advice

I'm ready to start my adventure into the ponics journey. I would like your advice on which system is best for a beginner to start in: hydroponics, aeroponics or aquaponics? also what stores do you recommend for me to buy my equipment?

Well hydro for sure.

Grown before? (genuine question, not the glaring sarcasm :) )

I would not go into aquaponics as a first timer...that seems like it would end badly...just saying.
Peace, negative.

If you haven't grown before, I would recommend using peat first to get the feeds and pH down right. Peat is a soil-less and very forgiving for beginning growers. General Hydroponics nutrients are also good for learners. If you have a little experience then Grodan rockwool is another good media for new comers. After you've master these two then you are ready for the liquid hydro and can do:
  • Wick Systems.
  • Deep Water Culture (DWC)
  • Nutrient Film Technique (NFT).
  • Ebb and Flow (Flood and Drain)
  • Aeroponics.
  • Drip Systems.😎

Absolutely! Hence it is why I was recommended that route (local hydro shop) and never looked back. OTOH, General Hydro have a specific line for soil/soiless mediums (General Organics). I had issues using it, always running into issues at week 5/6 of bloom, so I ditched them, switched nutes (no more issues) and I have never looked back.

Was it high N switcher? A few have commented there nova range carries too much. 4% by the bottle, but the feed chart indicates 8%. That's a 100% margin of error. I can't work like that.

Ionic is a decent single bottle solution. No feed is everybody's favourite, but I never see any haters. Which is worth a lot.

Dunno good buddy to be honest. I didn't no shit from shinola in those days LOL. I was showing both P & K deficiencies and, of course I was supplementing accordingly. All I know that since I switched to Remo (Canadian based to boot), I quit having issues. Looking @ comparative numbers from both brands, I can see why now.

go feed.jpg

Where:
  • bio thrive = 4-3-3
  • bio bloom = 2-4-4
  • Ca/Mg = 1-0-0
  • bio root = 0-1-1
  • bio weed =0-0-0.5
  • bio bud = 0.5-0-1
  • bio marine = 2-3-1
  • diamond black = 0-0-1
That's ml/gal

In the end... it is whatever works for you in your environment. @ 65 I'm to old to fuck around with shit. If it works, that is all that matters :) :tiphat:

Don't waste your time. All of those methods will be illegal in 33 years.

For beginners General Hydroponics, 3 part Flora Series is best when used at 1/2 the manufactures recommendations for peat. You can get by without all those extra additives too, and just use the three part series if you want. For rockwool, follow the weekly chart. Photos below, 3 part series at 1/2 dose Makes nice stinky sticky buds. 😎

Perhaps :) At the time I had local grower that was helping me out, who was using Remo. It was based on his recommendation that I switched, and the rest is history.

I fully understand the line... sellers sell stuff and consumers buy stuff. :tiphat:
