I was warned.....lol

Organic growing has warped my mind! Years ago when I got off the bottle (chemical fertilizers) the hydro store guy warned me. "Watch out buddy". I asked why, and he said "you'll get spoiled". I laughed it off, but he was right, and its worse than I imagined. Now I can't walk into a garden center without constantly muttering "fucking poison" when I see all those beautiful green and yellow boxes. I argue with poor minumum wage employees when they use the word 'organic' instead of organic-based when trying to help me. I can detect the taste of synthetic ferts in everyones weed. I even have started snapping at my better half when she uses the word 'fertilize' or says "can you feed the plants". I don't use any chemicals on my lawn (which is reverting back to its natural state). I am getting caught urinating in my composters and even asking for bags of shit for Christmas. I am becoming a societal outcast as nobody wants a know it all tree-hugger type around. I would have had a 1984 Orwellian moment years ago (ie return to the 'easy' chemical way) except for one thing. Finished product. Now I have a house full of stoners who can't stand me, but love me oh so much. Please, anyone who has a similar tongue-in-cheek organic-Nazi story, please share. While I can't correct myself, I can get some benefit from others who share these tragic life-growing pains. knowing I'm not alone. LOL Please help an old stoner!

I know the feeling, but I don't use the term ROLS. I don't go down to the local micro brewery or artisan coffee house and massage my wispy facial hair while discussing my ROLS recipe. I started using the term high brix gardening to get away from the whole organic stigma, which is totally over used. I would love to stay and chat but my composting toilet needs turning!

Life is funny.

I can tell you haven't experienced truly clean hydro yet. There literally is zero comparison to anything organic. Imagine the cleanest, tastiest, most fragrant organic cannabis you've ever come across... now remove that disgusting earthy garbage muddling up the flavor and aromas. That's what truly clean hydro is like. ;)

It's quite rare, not surprised you haven't come across it yet.

You've been warned it exists... good luck finding it. ;)

Thanks yeah won't even try, I've always wondered what you do with the leftover solution when you clean and re-boot?
You say that because you don't know what you're missing. ;)
My outdoor flowers and lawn LOVE it. My 'leftover solution' is also extremely weak.

Organic is where its at. It's so easy its hard to mess up Truly clean hydro is something special too. They both have their place in the cannabis universe. The real treasure is in the genetics though.

My most fragrant terps have come from bottled nutes, and patient reviews have been stellar, though I don't have many, they are all heavy tokers.
As far as I understand, all the nutrients at the molecular level are the same.
Calling something man made over organic is separating man from nature, no?

Organic is great when you're farming outdoors, wash less chemicals into the watershed, streams, lakes, etc.
Whether organic or not, it's all shipped in from somewheres.
When being concerned over what one takes into their body, also realise the fuel burned in having all of your organic or not plant food sourced closer by.
