I want to grow & sell marijuana (legally)

There's some money in hash ,oil,clones and seeds but you have to look, flowers don't raise an eyebrow,everyone I know grows plenty and there are outlets in even the smallest of towns and the natives sell everything to flood the market even more.

There's no money in seeds. I sell cannabis seed for less than a dollar a lb, retail. We use seed for fertilizer. I cook with cannabis seed oil it's so cheap.. We have too much seed. I should be paying people to haul it away, don't tell them.. We throw thousands of seeds to the birds a week.


There's only money in lies. Marketing. Scumbagetry. I just saw a youtuber called "Grow Daddy" who grows 4 plants in 7 gallon pots and has a fan base. Maybe you can make some cooler t-shirts than him. That's the money in Marijuana. Start a youtube channel you don't really need to know how to grow the shit. Look at Buildasoil. They got half the country top dressing sulfur and 10x marked up barley flour.

I live in an illegal state and ship to a legal state.

The news reporter figures I must be selling cheaper weed because of taxes. Don't think that's it.

Everything above PLUS you have to carve out a niche & differentiate yourself, this goes with any business but ESPECIALLY the incredibly saturated cannabis space… Good business acumen goes a long ways, hopefully you’ve run a business before, this space isn’t for the faint of heart

it's that the shit being sold in the dispensaries here in Canada is absolute fucking TRASH. I'm confident that I could produce better cannabis than they do. They're selling MOLDY weed for fuck sakes!!!

as much as I would like to agree with you on this[mould trash..] its not correct..

everything smells like fuel/gas "loud"diesel has a strong boring maybe 15-20 min punch

has high high thc..

just like all the new modern stuff everyone loves

the market is incestuous..

I sometimes buy the[well grown not mouldy] high thc `encrusted weed..

smoke a joint..say ..uhh not bad then give it away.


what I like to smoke takes twice as long to grow doesn’t have the uber thc content like those..

is not ”loud” gas/fuel..

doesn’t look like a crystal goblet

but gets me VERY high for hours

and...the market would laugh at my weed

also ..good luck competing..they are not all chads..

the glory days of making dough off weed up north are SO SO gone

but please continue to grow [pardon the pun]

educate yourself... learn something more... its a fun hobby..who knows

Maybe the legal price drop is a good thing in that less people will do it for the money alone and leave more of the market to people who love growing.

The main market is for ornamentals ,people who know good weed are a small % of consumers . People shop at dollar stores,buy tools at walmart, buy the cheapest and quality doesn't seem to matter. The first thing people do when buying a product is look at the price tag. Sure they may get back pain from buying $25 sneakers or their shirts may have one arm 3 inches longer than the other but they figured they saved money.Most won't commit to a grow to maturity and then a 4-5+ month flowering cycle and a small yield which is where the better weed lives. They want it planted and harvested in 3 months with lots of "hairs"

Thats the difference between growing for pleasure and money. Whenever youre forced to do something for money or means of living it all of a sudden has less value to you and is more of a chore. Youre forced into doing things the "best" way: monocropping something the market likes. Just round after round of the same cut... Cut down on anything experimental and learning very little, just how to grow your one cut...
But if you donit for pleasure and maintain the final hand (even if this means black market) you got a shot at both enjoying yourself and eventually when you work out your own market you can get a bit of cash. But it wont be millions, thats of years past.
I know Rgd knows whats up, been in this for linger than most of us.

I began growing back in '99 when the market was great, 6400lb. due to my market of professionals...400 zips were a regular price...money was great...I had a moderate grow of 400sf. which became work...when the market crashed to 1K lb. it didn't pay to make bank on the hard work it takes...know your market...I grow for myself and have better flowers that ever before and it's not work now...

@Rgd I’ve got a plant I think you’d like, we’ve been discussing here the possibilities of preparing it similar to the sticks with the tangwena cob method. Not tried it yet but theory is people would see it as trippy strong hash but the return would be better than hash with the buds included. What do you think? Probably a lot of people never tried this kind of weed, they might like it better than being knocked out?

I don’t sell or plan to, just give it to people I think it could help. I’d like to see more people smoking it though so trying to convince the local merch producers it’s a good idea, doesn’t sound like you’d need much convincing .
