check out this sex reversal agent man, anyone here using this? I really want some feedback "before i go through with it" seriously i think it might be somethin good to have in the growroom. is it any good?

What is Cl-one Sex Reversing Agent?
It's an exciting new product that allows you to play Mother Nature. Now you can create "Female Pollen". This pollen let's you pollenate and create your own 100% FEMALE SEEDS. It is now possible for the hobbiest to:

1) Backcross that favorite heirloom "Donor Plant" to a cutting of herself to produce offspring that are similar in traits. These offspring are close copies of the original donor plant/

2) Cross your two favorite plants and create your own hybrids.

3) Create 100% FEMALE SEEDS that eliminate the need for "sexing".

How does Cl-one Sex Reversing Agent Work?
Cl-one is acts as an Ethylene inhibitor in Dioecious Plants. When used as directed, Cl-one will make a female plant grow male flowers. When grown to maturity these male flowers produce the Female Pollen. Cl-one is safe and easy to use.

Cl-one Sex Reversing Agent FAQs.
1. Does Cl-one cause the resulting offspring to have hemaphroditic tendencies?
No. Cl-one doesn't stress the plant at all. If the subject plant is stable, then the offspring will be stable as well. Cl-one shouldn't be used on plants that tend to hermaphrodite or ones that are subject to stress.

2. Is Cl-one safe to use?
YES. When used as directed Cl-one is safe.

3. What if it doesn't work?
We have a 100 % guarentee, and if you're not happy after using the product as directed we will offer replacement product.

4. Has this Cl-one been tested?
YES. Until now this type of product was available to select seed banks. It has been tested intensively and is the safest and most reliable metohod for producing Feminized Seeds.

5. How many plants can I use one bottle on?
That depends...the size of the plants have will dictate how much of the product you will use. The 8 ounce size is good for about two complete cycles.

6. Can I change a male plant inot a female?
NO. Cl-one only works in Female to Male conversion.

Directions for use:
Spray plant surfaces on first day of flowering cycle. Reapply every two weeks untill two weeks remain in flowering cycle.

looks simple enough...

What is the active ingredient? STS? giberellic acid? or Silver ions in solution?

You could also get similair results by "rodelization" method. (let the plants go a few weeks past harvest time).

Selfing doesn't usually create perfect copies of the donar plant.

3. What if it doesn't work?
We have a 100 % guarentee, and if you're not happy after using the product as directed we will offer replacement product.

So if it doesnt work and my 3 pound crop fails they will offer 3 pounds of replacement product? Sweeeeet.

I agree rodelization does not work for every strain, but does work for quite a few of them, especially when you find the correct PH for it. It is Soma's preferred method (I think).

"Doubling when selfing plants" and "doubling of alleles"
This kind of goes against Mendel's first law, doesn't it? How can an allele be doubled without doubling the amount of chromosomes present? So, you are saying, selfing creates polyploids? (3n or 4n)

Selfing and Backcrossing are different terms, and do not mean the same thing.

LOL I got educated too.

I could write for hours on this subject but it would be like talking to myself.

Please, I insist, let us continue this topic. I do love a stimulating discussion on Genetic analysis, it isn't often I find someone as educated as yourself.

ok well all i have atm are these two pics so dont be trippin, you asked :moon:

i tried this product on a previous clone, missed the first treatment but liberally sprayed the second week and every two weeks after. it did NOT work, i was pissed and wanted my money back.

well, when all else fails i read the instructions :pointlaug

hhhmmmmmm, says here "shake well and apply first day of flower and every two weeks after". :chin:

first off i missed the first day skipped two weeks then started and second i dont remember ever shaking the bottle :bat:

ok second try, first day of flower i shake well and spray the clone liberally. within a week i see changes, by the second week its on! there are pollen sacks all over her, i just treated the second time so i expect the other flowers to start changing soon. im not advertising for for this company but this product is worth what i paid. if you can make it for less i say do it but the chems involved are not something i want to be buying outright personally. chalk this up as a success, im makin fem seeds and plan to overgrow the south. want to see some wild master skunkush growin on I-10 take a ride come fall :woohoo:

hi Girl Wonder  im under the impression its a hormone but i may be waaay off :pointlaugh

the seeds i made like this are still in the pods on the plant. she will be comin down in 5 days then i will pop seeds to try. yeah this is my experiment cabinet so just the one plant was treated and the other was the catcher. the treated plant barely made any extra pollen but did make enough to make a few seeds on the untreate plant. the treated plant however selfed herself with the female pollen so i have a few more seeds from her.

btw im doin fine thanks, and you?

I'm good, I've got a girl who I'd really love to try this with. She's the star of my garden, great quality and finishes in 45 days flat, but she was the only seed that survived out of a pack of unknown name. I'd love to see if I can find some even better traits inside there.

I'll post a thread on it if I try for sure. Keep us updated as you grow out your seeds. Do you know of any info on this type of "breeding" -selfing?

Props,
GWG
