I thought it was steralized soil

So I bought my supersoil and it says on the bag that is has been steralized and I hadnt used it before I opened it to mix it with perlite. My plants are still growing very strong and fast... but every once in awhile... I find some small mushrooms pop out of the soil. Most of them wilt and die and I just pick them out... but im wondering if there is anything else I should do. They dont seem to be effecting my plants but I dont want them to later in the grow. Any help in this situation would be great.

I wouldnt let that bother you. Composted soil has threse spores in them on occassion. If your plants are doing good, just enjoy the show.....

Mushrooms reproduce by spreading spores through the air, so some (or even a single spore) could have germinated and colonized. Also, it could be that they used "musroom compost" in your store bought soil, and didn't really "sterilize" fully, and it's actually fruits from the spent mycelium in the compost

I'm betting it's the first one though. You should try to ID them
