Hello all,

Had a most unusual circumstance last night.

I went to patron my favorite drink establishment last night at about 11p as I will from time to time. Mrs Miinds was at work and is kewl with me going to a bar on a friday night- been doing it for all my life as I was raised in a bar (and Ironically enough by Catholic nuns as well).

So anyway, I am in a wheelchair and I am just sitting thier minding my own business watch the folks dance and mill about as it is a Halloween party.

So, with my arms crossed across my chest resting squarely on my beer belly, I am at one moment watching the happenings and the next moment I am on the ground staring up at all these people- my head throbing wondering wath the phvqve just happened to me.

The people said I just fell over- folks I have been in a wheelchair over 25years and never have I just fallen over.

So how could I have been knocked over? Well, I don't recall being knocked into so I think I was pulled back by someone.

Anyway, since I don't have any known enemies I can not imagine anyone doing it on purpose. It was crowded so maybe I got bumped and did not feel it.

Anyway. My head still hurts. Mrs Minds is a RNC and she said its just a thump on my mellon but it feels like a 1/5 whiskey binge to me without the sour stomach.

So, anyway, I got some buds to help and that can't be bad.

you might want to keep an eye on that... do you know if you lost any time? I wonder if you were knocked unconcious and don't realize it? happend to me before and I never learned the whole story either. thumping headache could be mild concussion, if your headache worsens go see medical people ok?

i once had an incident similar to that when i had a tire explode inside the car i was in with the windows up. the sonic boom was enough to stun me temporarily. i wonder how something like that could have happened to you tho.

unless you were just the victim of some random act of violence and someone decided to just kick the guy in the wheelchair from behind, but you'd think someone would have seen them. real wierd. maybe a type of seizure? i dunno, hope it doesnt happen again tho whatever it was

That's awful, someone whacked you. You know as well as I do...no matter how drunk you may be or even drunk and stone. No matter why you're falling, you remember the fall. Unless someone cold-cocked you from behind and knocked you out for a moment.

Plus, you could be totally wasted - what's the chances of you falling out of your chair with no recollection of why? That's no joke, that's cruel. Whether they did it on purpose or not, knocking you flat out on the floor and even causing head trauma. Deserves an apology. Friends apologize, enemies don't.

I've been flat out smashed and fell out of bar stools. I couldn't tell you what drunk move I did to fall, but I remember the fall. If I got shoved, accidently or not, I'd remember.

Well thanks all for your kind words and humorous thoughts.

I am good. No TIA here- I remember the fall- it happened so fast I could not get my hands to the wheels in time so I don't think it was a just a tipping issue. I remember the stars I saw upon impact- there is no lost time.

Yes, the folks in the crowd helped me up into my chair-while being kind in thier actions and drunk 4 folks pulling at me this way and that way trying to get m e in the chair was a bit scary as I was lifted off the floor and felt like I was hanging in the air all while being disoriented and my head hurting- it took me about 5 minutes to get my thoughts together enough to leave.


SS, you are absolutely right my friend- no grease around my ass thank God. Buahahahaha


Motaco, I did not get into a fight with anyone- just smoked a bowl with a casual buddy (it was grapefruit grown outdoors in the greater Nor Cal area-thanks Tommy) and was basically just hanging out. I am thinking more and more it was an accident- I have no enemies.

You've been a victim of "WHEELCHAIR TIPPING". Similar to cow tipping but without the trouble of finding a pasture full of cows. It's all the rage now as people in wheelchairs are easier to find and alot eaiser than tipping over a cow. HAHAHAHA Sorry just couldn't resist this one. Hope you're gonna be ok. It takes a sorry sob to mess with a person in a wheelchair.

I agree with irishslappop.. the way you describe it, you sound like you were disoriented etc.. just because you remember it doesnt mean it wasnt a TIA or something similar. I've had one before while tripping on shrooms and I remember every detail. only lasted maybe 5-10 seconds, but I remember every bit of it, and that doesnt mean it wasnt what it was..

dunno what to tell you man, you'd know if someone pushed you over.. plus if you did, other people there woulda prolly chewed him out cause pushign over someone in a wheelchair is NOT COOL or funny. why not take a trip to the doctor? take you 30 minutes, get checked out, if thats not what it was then you have the peace of mind of knowing it.
