I think I have a hermie plant. What do I do?

Ok I think I have a hermie plant. Im on my 3rd grow and one of the random seeds im growing has developed little balls around the middle area of the plant but there are hairs coming from the top of the plant. What do you guys do with hermies and Is it worth the chance of polinating the rest of my crop if I pinch off the balls and let the buds continue to grow? My plants are on there 2nd week of flower and Im not trying to get any seeds. I have 19 other plants growing also. Please help me.

usually plants that have gone hermi for me have done so way late into flowering like 2 weeks past ripeness...i dunno its up to you but if it does seed itself youll be the proud owner of some feminized seeds...i would bud it seperate from the rest of the crop so not to seed any of the others but i would let it seed itself just to get the seeds.thats just me im no expert but iknow a lil.

thought so. I dont have a seperate room to flower the hermie in and as Space Ghost has said it is too dangerous this early in the cycle to chance it. Thx you guys. I also can get a pic up for you to confirm its a hermie if you want.

yeah i would like to see pics...and i would listen to ghost he has helped me a lot in the past and he knows a fair bit more than I.

well if you decide to keep it, get it away from your other plants as fast as possible, because it is not worth having all your plants seeded.

i always thought it was the pollen from that hermie ,put onto another female would produce a all female ratio.
doing it that way would just prouce more hermi seeds ?

i dont think if it polinates others that they are garunteed to be female to my knowledge its just when it pollinates itself but i could be wrong...i had a pheno that was prone to hermi for a while i just chucked it because even though i was getting female seeds from it they always hermied i think it was the just a bad pheno .

I had a hermi plant get the whole garden. Everything has seeds. I even tried planting 7 of them and none popped after a week in the ground; they were only 1 week old after chop and I don't know if that is better or worse (although I assume it's better). I am using a steel strainer from the kitchen and it is doing a great job separating the seeds from everything else. Major pain in the ass, don't forget to rub down the flower area's walls with some bleach and water. I plucked balls in the morning and at night and the next day there was always a pollen sac that busted, that wasn't there the day before. Just get rid of it, unless you want to make seeds.

Yes, a hermi does = female seeds, but the problem is you've got a random hermi gene floating around in there, so you're likely to see a lot more hermis using those seeds.
