Its been raining here so naturally my indoor grow room's RH has risen. 36 plants about 2ft tall in a 4X8" flood table in 3gal pots. 4 osc fans about 2 feet from the table on all sides.. 1 35pint/day dehum and a 10k btu a/c on dry.. i keep the humidty around low forties high 30's during the day.. its hard when it rains here to keep it lower.. my room is NOT ventilated btw.. it has co2 enrichment.. my lights are aircooled and the hoods are about 4 inches from the tops. 3600watts hps (6X600).. strain is sugar shack..

day 20-25 of flowering. sprayed with bonoro bio protect while veging and organicide about two weeks ago.. just noticing a few spots apearing.. my last a-10/purple cream grow got overtaken by PM even though i had the a/c on dry and lots of fans..

with good circulation in the room, humidity around the low 40's, and a dehumidifyer pulling 35 pints a day, what could be my flaw in my protection against powdery mildew???

Appearantly there's still PM somewhere in your room and it's reinfecting your plants. Have you tried a sulfur burner yet?

hey Frozen guy..

I battled pm myself. I run a sealed room during lights on and vent during lights out but my night hum still hit 80% and I had pm probs.. I now run a 65 pint dehum at lights out and it stays 55-60 and I have no probs.

If your lights on rh is in the 40's I'd bet that your lights out conditions are inviting the pm. Do you know what the rh is during lights out?

yeah, i run the dehume and the dry mode on the a/c (has a self evaporator).. i can go check right now, lights have been out for 3 hours now..

i have two probes and the temps are 73/74 and humidity is 43% on both. i just set the a/c for cool mode only cause it can only cool with a low fan speed on dry and i want the temps to drop to just under 70 cause i flower at 76-78 lights on..do i need to go crazy with osc fans? like tall floor ones, desk ones and even mini ones all strategically placed?? i mean, jeez.. you would think that with all this equipment and stuff i could beat this stupid mold

Baking soda works well to control powdery mildew. Non toxic to you. Raises the ph of the leaf surface so fungus cant grow. Try 1 to 2 teaspoons per gallon of water and spray both sides of the leaf. Add a couple drops of dish detergent like ivory to help it spread across the leaf (surfactant).

hey dude if you need to burn sulfur you dont need a 150 burner you can use other heating elements to get vapors. when i did have one i used a hot plate skillet it worked great i could see the vapors and it wasnt boiling you can do it!! i ended up getting one and only used it 1 time just to say i did becuz the 1st time got the pm to go away with my hot plate. you can get the sulfur at your local hydro shop.

Goodluck and keep us posted
