I decided to repot and bend it over (LST)

When we were trying to bend it the stem bent a bit, it couldn't support itself, I am gutted!!!

I have sorted it out but we should have done it from the start but unfortunately didn't know about LST, its getting too big for where it is, we're in the process of trying to make something else

What do you think:

Do you think I've messed up?

Kx :badday:

Congratulations, you just supercropped your plant. In a few days a knot should form and harden up much harder than the rest of the stalk and should look something like this.

"Another one of my tricks is stem bending, a technique where you roll the stem inbetween your fingers while squeezing fairly hard, but not hard enough to break the stem, then slowly bend the stem over. The stem forms a hard elbow where it was bent and the top straightens itself out so that it can continue pointing at the Sun (grow light ). The result is what is called Supercropping. The secondary buds underneath the tops, build up with a survival hormone because of the stress factor and become at least twice as large as normal, increasing the yield and potentcy. I do this technique to each plant quite a few times as they are growing to achieve an even canopy as I look at the plants from the top. I grow the cannabis in beds, so I can’t move the plants around, I move the tops instead."-Soma

"If you squeeze a stem fairly hard you will hear it 'crunch' inside - this is the inner 'channel' or hurd that carries fluid around the plant.
You can break this 'channel' without breaking the outer sheath of the stem, it will be faily bendy and supple now and you can reposition for better light coverage or even canopy. The break will repair within 24 hours and a knuckle will form. It will repair itself to a better state than originally in before the break and it will also be wider allowing the flow of more nutrients."

Your pictures have made me feel so much better!! (that is if they are the way they look and bent like totally bent over to nearly 90 degrees?)

I could have cried man!!

I know you can nip out the growth tip to encourage the shoots to grow (not sure what you guys call that!) but I really didn't want to do that! Certainly not there anyway!! I take it if i cut it or totally broke it where it bent (under that string you can see at the right hand side of the close up) that would be supercropping?

Will it be ok with the amount its over the pot? (don't know how else to put that!! Hope you know what I mean!!

Should I take out the growing tip or should I leave it?

Thanks guys!!

I would suggest just leave it be for right now, see what happens, you can always snip later
