I Ran Out of Room, Too Late to HST/LST?

Hi guys, first time grower here in a stealth cab. Basically in my 4x3x2 feet of growing room I've run out of room.

Basically I'm down to a few inches of head space so I got a radical idea when I bought two new planters that I was planning to use for my next grow:

I was thinking about using the pinch / crush technique to bend the stalk so that the plant is set up

The green is the stalk, the orange is the crush bend location, and the black lines are bamboo shoots to support the stalk.

Any other ideas or improvements?

Thanks, so 9 weeks after planting the seed isn't too late then (I germinated these ladies in soil on July 25th), should I hold off on switching to flower for recovery, or will they be able to recover with no problems in flowering?

YES...:joint: I have complete broke my stem in half something ago and had no idea why I was delayed in flowering...now it's stronger then ever....

While I technically use ScrOG, it's a form of LST and I do it through as much as 20 weeks of flower. The colas aren't as pretty but, they're prettier than colas burned by the lamp.

Sweet, thanks! I guess I keep having the misconception that these are fragile plants and not weeds. :D

Note my plants are heavily sativa influenced and quite flexible. With indicas, remember the crush portion of crush and fold.

I did a crush and fold a few weeks ago for some that out paced the ceiling in my cab. I've got to say ... the buds did not fill in nearly as much as expected, very wispy. I should've been starting flush now, but instead I'm going to let em go another couple weeks to see if they're just behind schedule now or what.

you can always cut off the tops also- example= i had 7 plants made up of hybrids throwing different phenos, 2 were looking like they wanted to touch the moon. i just cut them down to size even after they were showing pistils . they eventually started cola'ing up and slowed down, not the best yielders as far as dense colas, but the potency and trichome production out of this world. good luck.
