I need to modify my rooms , can anyone help with suggestions?

I have a flwrng room, 8x8x5, 1000w hps, divided with panda plastic with a 8x4x8 veg room, with mothers. Problem is I hardly have any room to move around and do maintenance on the plants. so I am thinking about just taking out the "PANDA WALL" and making it it one big room , with NO VEG ROOM, and only taking clones from the plants that are in the flwrng room, i run 11 waterfarms, so why use mothers anyway if you can clone your plants in the flwrng chamber, just seems like a waste of electricty using a 400w hps for veg and mothers when i can use a cooler with a flrcnt for clones and plop them in the waterfarms when they are ready. i hope this makes sense.
any ideas on why you would use mothers anyway instead of just making it one big flwrng room?

you have the right idea but you will still need a small light tight area to clone in. I do the same thing your talking about. I try to take clones before putting them into flower so I know I will have a rooted cut before that one goes to flower. I would recomend a closet in the house somewhere and use t5 floros. just enough room for your cloner and a enough room to veg them until you can move them into flower

thanks joesy: i havel always wanted to use t5s , i guess this would be a good time. I will probably make the whole room into a flwrng room. and do something else,

so that you can have different runs of different strains; that way they all finish at the same time and all have the same feeding requirements. also because you'll need to add another 1000w when you almost double the size of the room. how about just moving the wall over a little bit to make some more room in the flower side(i am assuming this is the side with little room)?

I wonder if taking out my divider wall and putting in the 400wt along with the 1000w, will work? I use a cooler with a tray and humidity dome with a flrcnt right now and works great for clones so far, but doesnt hold that many, so maybe i should just expand the room and build another section , framing and all.

if you had the 1000 on one side and the 400 on the other...which side do you think would do better? even lighting is the key.

...now if you had a 1000 with a 400 on each side of it, THEN you're talkin'!

you could also put the 1000 on a light mover.
