I need to make friends

ok, I'm in my early 20's I've been married for 4 years, no kids. I travelled the world and am now finishing my degree. I smoke on occasion, I like to fish and I'm into premium cigars. I don't like stupidity or people who are not open minded(read: willing to respect others opinions)

moved up to the pacific northwest a bit over 2 years ago and still havent made any friends, all my friends are in AZ and those are people I've known for about a decade. Anyone else not make friends easily?

I find that the path I took in life is so unique that not many people can relate and can't seem to find a cool group of people to hang out with, either there settled down with kids and dont relate to life or are totally immature. oh well. I would love to find some folks that are similar to me. At least mid of next week I'm going to AZ and I'll hve some time to hang out with old friends and family, should be a blast.

there's quite a few of us from this area of the country. I love the coast, I try to get down to Bandon or Florence and do some jetty fishing.

Yep, they were dungoness crab.

I don't know, commercial crabbing isn't all too painful actually, the skipper of the boat has all the hard work, so I leave it to him. I've only done it a feel times when my Dad's boat needed some cheap labor

Meh, I always seperate myself from those types. I've been a pretty good judge of character so far. All my friends that eventually tried to use me, fuck me over, fight me, they were already on the outs with me, and the confirmation was all I needed to cut em off for good.

I hate to say it man, but it sounds like you picked the wrong people to be friends with. I've learned over time to weed friends out as they fail to prove their worth, however to go through life with no friends seems so depressing.
