I need some help

I have placed a wide mouth 1 quart mason jar full of extreme high quality sensi (ground) into a pot with 1/2 pound of butter with 4 cups of water. I have the basics but need to ask how long to let this cook before straining. This answer is time sensitive.

I have read from 60 minutes to 34 hours. :bashhead:

So, now I have done some reading.....too late. this is going to be some real potent butter. I will strain it @ 90 minutes and save the bud in case it should be 24 hours or some long a$$ed time that seems stupid to me. I have 43 seconds left to the hour and will let it go to 1.5 hours hoping for a response from some reply that has a more experienced cooking hand than mine.

So now I have done this and am pretty nervous about eating it. I guess i will wait until someone who knows CPR is nearby.

WOW, that's gotta be like 2 - 3oz of bud into 2 (is it 2?) sticks of butter! That will be some strong ass butter. If it were me I'd start with like half a cookie (if you had 40 or so cookies in your batch) and judge from there. Or if you're eating the butter on its own I'd weigh it out and divide that number by like 60 and start with a dose that size, for example if you currently have 224 grams of canna butter I'd eat like 4 grams max and see how that goes and take it from there. If you liked being really put on your ass you're going to be glad you made this. I'm sure smaller doses do a good job of getting you stoned like you'd normally be but I liked my cookies for the fact that they could take you higher than you've ever been. Have fun octodiem.
 
So have you eatin any yet?? I just read your last few posts and am wondering how you plan on taking it in? I agree that there was an awfully large amount used for that much butter. I would have run a second extraction for a less potent batch. Not sure 1/2 lb can absorb that much THC, I am curious how it turns out. I usually make cookies when I make butter but lately I have been making weed milk which is too yummy with chocolate syrup in it and less mess without the butter involved. ENJOY! :joint:

Holy shit, i am really having trouble typing.
it has been 13 hours and I am still pretty buzzed two teaspoons in a serving of stroganoff
. It was a real good buzz it became obvious after 1 hour it"worked".
I will check the exact amount I used seems like a small amount for such a long buzz.

Yeah I had figured out this was going to be some pretty strong butter. There is some water in butter so the amount of gee is less than 1/2 pound.
as i said before holy shit. great fun eyes,are pretty red need coffee ttfn.

It's later now I am still stoned but no so as i can't type. As said one hour after putting a couple teaspoons of this in a plate of stroganoff i realized how potent this stuff was.

3 hours i was still toasted more so this was not couch lock weed this was a good sativa indica cross. Very potent 1 hit would grt most people high but I always go for more.

I tried to re assemble the block of canna gee and came close so i will stick by the 2 teaspoons. Hindsight says three would be better but for a test the dosing was good.

Once or twice in 40 years I have gotten too much THC and although not fatal it was not "fun".

The gee has what appears to be THC "blooms" covering it. This gee tastes garlicy....i cannot explain that because the smoke tastes of grapefruit.

I did get a bit of heartburn because between the stroganoff, sour cream ant teaspoons of gee that is more fat than I consume in a week.

The buzz was real cerebral and the munchies were uncontrollable. 3 hours into buzz the body rushes started.

That,s pretty much all to remember but this is a working recipe and I do not believe much THC went to waste maybe 1 more quarter of butter.

I used distilled water ,unsalted butter, let it go 90 minutes hardly a boil .

I live high above sea level and water boils less than 100 degrees C here.
I am going to make more today with olive oil and water because the butter fat is not so good for me and the olive oil would have the garlic taste a better compliment.

I know its been hours but I feel still buzzed and need more coffee still some head and body rushes.

Obvious I won't be eating any canna gee today, how long will this gee keep.

This is the recipie I use. I love it with chocolate syrup and I do agree that it hits you way quicker than cookies. Here you go.... :joint:


Marijuana Milk Recipie:
Milk: 4 cups (1 quart)
Leaf Matter: As many leaves as you can fit in 4 cups of milk.

Directions: Carefully boil milk and leaves for about an hour. Potency will vary depending on the amount and quality of leaves used. Typical dose is 1/4 cup milk mixed with chocolate milk. This method seems to work better than the butter and the high comes on MUCH faster. Depending on your experience level a good first dose of milk is 1/4 cup but it can range from 1 tablespoon to 2/3 cup.
Milk Ideas: Pudding(one of my favorites), Shakes, Pancackes, etc.
