I NEED HELP!!!!

I don't mean to be dramatic, but I am having some issues with my 2 week old ICE feminized. I am only growing one plant, because I was confident I could sustain it long enough to take some cutting and start clones in a hydro unit. I am growing it under a 150w hps with 2 100w compacts flours as supplement. The plant is not overheated and not overwatered and I have been using aerated tap water only until this point. There a hint of yellow forming and the leaves are getting limper by day. It can't be nitrogen, right? I should only be giving it straight water 2 weeks in right. I am going to need to transplant soon and I am worried that it won't survive the shock. Here is a picture...it isn't very clear, but can some knowledgable folks give me a diagnosis, even if its a educated guess. Thanks people.

doesnt look too bad. maybe a transplant and some superthrive or b1 additive, maybe just a touch of a very light veg fertilizer.some times, if your roots arent growing very fast, the plant will start to yellow on the bottom leaves and put more energy into going up and new growth. the new growth looks nice and green. sorry i cant be of much more help.

good luck

I think this is sort of funny....

First how I veg plants.... I use 4 foot shoplights...

From seed I put 10 plants in 18 oz cups under an incredible 80 watts....

or an average of 8 watts each.....

I grow them till they are way bigger than yours is now....

And yours is under 250 watts..... LOL

But more to the point....

Your plant comes with a feed me gauge....

You know that first set the cotyledons...

when you see those yellow a bit time to feed...

your pic doesnt show those...

Unlike most I feed early then back off....

over ferting is a cumulative thing....

if you feed once you only make sure the plant has chow from day 1.....

Start with a weak fertilizer containing nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. It should also contain all the micros...iron, manganese, zinc, copper, boron, and molybdenum. If the fert does not contain calcium and magnesium, you can add 1/4 teaspoon of both powdered gypsum and epsom salts per gallon of water along with the regular fert. Do this everytime with no dolomite lime in the soil and every third time or so with dolomite lime.

You should adjust your fert water after you have mixed it to about ph 6. You would use an acid or base. Things you might use to do this are in my signature below "how to make your own ph up and down". This will ensure that there are no ph surprises and optimum growth. Failure to do this might lead to erratic and poor results.

i would have at least sprouted 2 seedlings man..shit happens dude...and if ya loose ya one plant ya screwed..back to the beggining..ya may have picked the worst seed of the bunch to..and if ya cloning off her, ya may get nothin but crap...my advice would be....

quickly sprout another 4 seedlings..
if ya sure ya not overwatering, start giving 1/2 strength nutes.(on the seedling thats up, not the babies)
make sure ya ph is correct.(catch some runoff of the watering and measure)
but pick the nicest plant out of the 5 to clone from..id even take 1 or 2 from the others incase ya get a moffy...moffy's are undetectanble untill they start to flower...
keeps ya clones labelled..
some strains need more nutes early on comp[ared to others..some seedlings may go for ages without much in the way of nutes...and others need alot when they are young...

but...to me, it doesn't look like to much is worong with ya baby..
cheers

thank you people...I do have drain holes in the cup, but I think the soil may be getting to compacted. Also, althought the soil is more packed than I would like it to be, the root zone is loose. I think I am gonna flush it with some heavily aerated water and transplants in a few days, wetting the new pot's soil with 1/3 strength veg fert. I will, however wait for the soil to dry up to make sure overwatering is definitely not the issue. Thank you all for your help, I will keep you posted on the progress. I am taking a risk, but if I was able to get a good mother out of a one seed germinated, one seed grown it would be great. Does anyone else have experience growing till harvest on a lowly 150w hps?

let it dry out completely i mean damn near bone dry then start watering it again. i know you said that you are not overwatering but that is what it looks like to me.

some perlite and/or vermiculite will help to maintain a better soil texture.
as for the 150hps ... it would indeed be lowly if you were growing for a half-dozen people but mine is EASILY producing enough for my own personal needs. in fact, people are growing with even less wattage than that. it all depends on your needs.
go easy on the watering and dont be in too big a hurry to add feed in there either. happy growing !

you are over watering

Dont water again until you have roots poking out the bottom of the cup.

then transplant and it shouldn't put the plant into shock if you just move it from one container to a larger one, don't fuck with the root mass or even really fuck with the dirt. put your little plant between two fingers place hand over cup turn over and put that into the larger pot with a hole you already made the same size as the originaly cup o dirt. Don't fuck with it just flip it and put it in its new home. my plants ussually explode with growth right after I move them.
your lighting is overkill too for such a little plant but I don't think that is lending to your problem.
and don't fert it until the plant tells you it needs something. You are making shit way more complicated than it should be.
