i've been reading a lot of Lucas' recommendations for growing with floranova... from that and what you say about your ppms it seems that they are missing something... i would recommend you bump up the dosage to 8 ml/gal or an EC of 2.0, which would translate to 1000 or 1400 ppm depending on the conversion factor of your meter... check this out...http://www.cannabis-world.org/cw/showthread.php?t=892

You should be doing regular complete res changes to eliminate buildup of unused fertilizer components.

I don't have other ideas atm, but go run and grab yourself a bottle of GH Micro right away and do a light foliar feeding at ~1 teaspoon per quart with a drop of dish soap, to give some nutes back to the plant.

hey WYGRAM, im not sure what its caused from, been trying to figure it out for awhile now . im running 2 different systems with the same things happening in both systems. im curently flushing one system and will bring the tds up around 1000 after flushing...

STINKYATTIC , i did like you said , 1 tsp gh micro and drop of dish soap. man i hope one these works , it driving me CRAZY .....

.... thanks for the help

Stinky is very correct about the res changes, good advice...
Now the problem with your plant can be a combination of not changing res and

PLants are low on iron man...... get some iron/zinc into the plants :)

Not sure if they will yellow back up or not.... would like to find out though cause iron issues are rare

i sprayed them with 1 tsp micro and a dash of soap , and im doing a flush also . ill keep ya posted ..

i have 2 differnent systems running ,dwc recirculateing and a turbo garden .im currently fushing the tg do you think i need to flush the dwc or dump the nutes and start a fresh reservoir??

Why did you spray soap on them? Also I would be adding it to your res, foliar feeding does not work well ime. It's best to use it when they need something quick, it works way better in soil, hydro on the other hand, you should have just dumped it in the res they would have started to recover in the same day and after you cleaned your res out.

You're going to want to dump your res and start with a fresh batch. Complete, regular nute changes are important- if unused fert salts build up, they can start locking out other nutrients, metals lockouts would be likely, and you start seeing weird symptom sets even though your numbers look good on paper. Like, running 1400ppm and getting signs of hunger... it's like putting a hungry dude in a barn full of hay. He isn't going to eat it, and it may give him a rash.

Hey everyone. Thanks for chiming in. I think I would eat the hay too!! I did a flush for 24 hours on the turbo garden. I brought my tds up to 1130, but it is still settling. The ph is around 5.8-6.0. The tds was around 740. I hope this helps. I used floranova grow nutes. I really would like to start flowering soon. How soon do you think I should wait before I start to flower?

When I made the micro solution of 1 tsp of micro and a dash of soap, I thought I needed a wetting agent. I didn't know it was for soil only. Live and learn, that is what it is all about. Thanks again for all the advice. I'll keep you posted

Nah, foliar sprays work in hydro too. I mean, a leaf is a leaf is a leaf... I'd only use a drop, not a dash, but I've been foliar feeding my hydro plants for ages- they get GH Micro or Spray-N-Grow depending on life stage, plus Silica Blast, plus SnowStorm if they are in late flower. Works mint!

for 25 gallon dwc , how much flora nova grow would you recommend using??

G

greenhornets

i flushed the clones for 24 hours and dumped the water and added 20 gallons of fresh tap water that i let set over night .i added 8ml per gallon . it raised the tds up to 1260 and i adjusted the ph to 6.0 . the plant still look the same . its been 2 day .i'm i expecting to much to soon ??

the plant leafs are yellow . if the def is iron will the color change back to green or will the new growth start to turn green ??

yes, you are expecting things to happen too quickly... relax... pH is slightly high mid 5s is good, because as they eat the TDS will drop and pH will rise...

G

what number should the tds be around for clones that are 12 inches tall and has been topped and they are about 8 months or better in age .the tds was 760 , that was the highest it was before i went crazy with the nutes and brought the tds upto 1340 . i took some water out and i'm going to backfill with tap water to bring the tds down .whats a good tds # , like said it was 760 and they where showing i guess iron def .. i'm guessing 900 or 1000 tds??

any advice ,, help please .
