I Need help identifying pests

Hi guys,

My veg plants are having some hard time the last couple days and I could use your opinion.

Week ago they got stessed by light. For about 48hs I didn’t have a place for them and they were literally touching tcl bulbs and their tips got burned. I didn’t expect it to be such an extreme.
Till then, they looked beautiful. I removed the dry tops and transplanted them into their final pots(guanokalong soil mixed with coco/perl),(added mykos, azos, rhizotonic) moved them to the big box and was hoping them to get better.
However this mistake caused some serious imbalance and it doesn’t look like they are getting there. Top leafs started to curl.
I suspect mites showed up and started to trouble them.
I inspected few leaves with my 60xmagnifier, tops and bottoms but didn’t see webs,or any movement, but it appears something is sucking my plants.
After, I shaked the leaves and what fell off looks like eggs or pest.
Let me know what do you think.

Thanks

Sorry Yes, you have spider mites but you can still spray because you are in veg. By the time the plants are in flowering those leaves will be gone and not smoked. When I used to have problems with mites I used cold-pressed neem oil mixed with a drop of dish soap. Mix with warm water and shake well and spray the whole plant on top and bottom of every leaf.

The important thing to remember is mites eggs hatch new every few days so spray every 3 days for a total of 12 days. If you only spray once the eggs and larva will mature into mites again causing a reinfection. So you have to stay at it until they are gone. If you use a pyrethrum fogger or bomb with neem oil you should rid of everything easily.

Thank you for confirming my thoughts and sharing your knowledge.

I have already ordered the fogger.

For foliar I can go with rock effect that I have at home to cut time.(Pongamia pinnata oil, simmilar to the neem)
are you familiar with that one?

I do not see any sign of damage to the leaves caused by mites. The pictures against the white background are also inconclusive in my opinion. You need to be absolutely sure of your diagnosis before you begin treatment.

There is nothing worse than trying to treat phantom issues, a very long and slippery slope.

I don't know anything about pomngmia but if you use a little neem as a preventive at this stage it won't hurt anything.

Oh yes that’s for sure. It just happens to be a bank holiday here today so I am not getting any neem till tomorrow.

And I did just what you said. Like 60% of the recommended dose of that other oil.
It’s been 8hs since applied and already looking a bit juicier.

I didn't say 60% of oil is the recommended dose. I'm not sure what you are talking about. I use about a teaspoon of neem per quart of warm water with a drop of dish soap in the same warm water.

Sorry.
I may have written it incorrectly.
what I was trying to say was; I did 60% of the dose that paper sheet said. In a meaning, Did it like a prevention, what you did advice.
I believe it didn’t offend you.
