i LIKE tea, yes i do.

Only by the Traditional Medicinals tea company though... Their organics are top-notch, real deal organics, and the taste is pure.

My favorite is the Hojicha, roasted green tea. Just wonderful!

I drink tea, no coffee at all (health probs). My recent craze is indian tea - very very strong 1/3 tea, 2/3 hot milk, cardamum, sweetened to the brink of disaster. :)
In parts of India it's served as a dessert.

Hey do any of you tea lovers know why, we cant grow our own tea? Last year I went to a landscape nursery, and ask them for tea plants, or how I could get some. Well they looked at me like I was nuts or something.
Each year I like to add something different to my garden,Blueberries,Black Rasberries last year, grapes this year, an I thought tea would be cool. I did find some local *wild tea* but either I didnt cure the leaf well, or it just tasted weak, but I couldnt get a good taste from it. Hell, maybe the guy that gave it to me from his property, was as clueless as I was.

Cardamom is good stuff kov, reminds me of fruit loops.

Chai, kukicha (japanese twig tea), yerba mate, white (the tip-tops of green), and rooibos are my favs. Is that too many? Used to drink alot of that licorice flavored yogi tea. Green is too grassy tasting unless I pull it out of the cup after 30 seconds or so. Ginseng leaf tea is very similar to green, but better.

I gave up coffee recently and have been drinking Ceylon breakfast tea. I have been a lot calmer and less spun out in the morning. Even though I have to get up at 4 am the tea is enough.
The Celstial Season stuff is delicious but is not actually tea. It's called an infusion. Tea is a specific plant.

My other faves are Imperial Red/ Black tea from Fujian , China which tastes like cocoa and Rembeng Estate organic black tea from Assam India .

I went to a traditional Chinese Tea garden recently and had some delicious varieties.

Tea can be fun and relaxing.

"Elaborate please ?"

It's true....the Chinese call this sensation "tea drunk"...it's similar to the how you felt the first time you got tipsy on alcohol with a hint of coke...a sort of silly and goofy feeling, with wide eyed and a little over excited, loud...this mostly happens if you are not used to drinking good oolongs and other North Asian teas..it's lasts about 15 minutes or so.

I like the buzz I get from oolong tea and of course, it's best prepared and sipped in the traditional way

the finest oolongs are worth more than gold..I tried some very high quality outrageously expensive oolong cha once.....it was inspirationally divine, I was hooked from that day on...I could waffle on how good it was, but you'd be better off reading about oolong teas described by experts..

Tea is much less harsh than coffee, longer lasting, makes you alert without the jitters and is better for you....but I still have a just the one coffee first thing each morning as a heart starter.

try do a search for "oolong tea taiwan" to learn more about the most expensive and the best tea in the world...there are quite a few sites that sell "cha" some of these sites are very informative too....and you might be surprised just how costly these quality high mountain teas are ..a tin of the stuff might cost $60 or $90 but it goes a long way....

I'm drinking a pot of oolong tea at moment myself..a supposed prize winner ( aren't they all!)...I like oolong tea as they make feel nice sensations in your mouth..eg you want to rub your tongue on the roof of your mouth!....it makes your throat feel good too.

My fave Nth East Asian teas are high mountain Oolong tea......a spliff and a few sips of oolong cha compliment each other so well together. ....and the lighter, more delicate Green teas are refreshing too.

there's been a craze on coffee for the last ten years that has slowed off, I believe quality north Asian teas will become the "new" coffee" in the next decade......
