What's new

I just purchased a light mover for my 600w c-22

My other option was to use two 400w lights.

I decided that 600w was sufficient enough but I wanted even growth over the whole grow area. Ordered a light mover with a 6 foot rail and optional stops you can put in. I figureed I would just cut it down to fit in my 4 foot wide cabinet.

600w / 5.5 square feet = 109 watts per square foot.

Thoughts?

I bought the sunmaster lifts for my daystar ac reflector. I just use regular j hooks in 3 different positions as a light mover, but what I found is if I angle the hood a bit and leave it about 16" off the canopy I get a pretty good spread without having to move it.

I dont see the need for a light mover with a 600w light in a c22. That seems to be pointless almost in such a small space. I'm sure it will help a little, but I couldn't find it as being enough to make it worth it. I got a 400 watter in my c24 and theres plenty of light in there that I wouldn't have much of a use for a light mover. I couldn't imagine a 600 watter, thats already like WOW when you see it.

But hey, tell us how it goes and post some pics, I'd love to see it.
