I haven't smoked marijuana in 56 days...

(I had to quit so I can pass an upcoming piss test)

Let me start off by saying that marijuana is more than just a tool of relaxation for me. It's MY medicine. I have extreme anxiety disorders/ ADD that developed years ago (well before I started smoking so please dont blame it on the weed). Cannabis is the one thing that chills me out, and puts me on a level playing field. So anyway, now I have to resort to putting poision into my body (xanax, beer).

Why can't I smoke a plant if it helps me? If I stay in my house, sitting on the couch with a glass bong in my hand - WHO AM I HURTING?

Honestly, what jusitification does the government even have for keeping marijuana illegal. They say it has no medical properties? Well what the hell does alcohol contribute to society? Why do we have to live this way? What can we do to change it? I know am preaching to the choir, but we cannot continue to be persecuted. I know so many successful people who smoke weed and they hide in fear everyday of their lives.

Drives me out of my ****ing mind! :rant:

They keep it illegal at the behest of big business that at the time profited from oil and timber, and have now added pharmaceuticals to that mix. Thats the real power. It also tunes you in I believe, a revolutionary plant, if you will.

They also use food as a weapon. The hemp seed is pretty much essential. We need it, you just don't know it. They do, though, and want to keep us all fat, sick and dumb.

Marijuana is illegal because of the US, born in the USA. Marijuana is illegal to keep hemp off of the market.

Look into the DuPont, first drug czar Harry Anslinger and their relationships to synthetic fabrics, look at william randolf hearst and his sensational news stories demonizing the plant in the 1930's -- all to protect his paper (trees, the common good, exploiting it) empire.

Look into it, all the information is there. The thirty minute hearing before the vote on the "Marihuana tax stamp act" where Anslinger testifies before congress about this devil weed's effect upon the 'degenerate races'....

Now you have Nixon's ramping up of the war on drugs (people). Look into this as well, match it up to other goings on of the time. Oh yea, HMO's and the pharma companies were just making their way up to the pillars of power.

Shit is ill. Biggest crime against humanity ever perpetrated, sounds extreme but **** it.

Well I edited the post above. And there is a simple answer, but it's not necessarily easy.

I think you know what we need to do. We've got to throw the bums out, their crimes of the past 70+ years need to be exposed, and current perpetrators need to be tried for ALL sorts of crimes.

Now keep in mind these are coincidentally the same people that would be doing the trying, so you see the dilemma.

Protecting the 2nd amendment is probably the most important thing you can do right now.

In light of the fact that people in positions of power never willfully abandon their post, we may need to be ready to light a fire.

I've seen Grass about 400 times. I've seen Jack Herer's movies, read his books. I wish there was something I could do as an individual to help end the madness :(

They put people in prison for growing weed in the privacy of their own closets. Where is the logic in this?

Really if you're going to affect any change in this country, you would necessarily become a 'terrorist' to the establishment, and fox news would definitely report on it.

You know what to do, either do it, or not.

i couldnt agree with you more, and it reminds me of a movie called Grass and reefer madness....grass shows alot about why marijuana is not legal and it has to do with the government and their lies to make it "bad"

Those are addictive and cause severe withdrawl, I believe you can die from alcohol, I think the benzo's might be the same. These guys like their monopolies!

Also, let me know when you figure out how to make xanies in your bedroom closet will ya :)

thats just it though, they wouldn't think twice about the xanax, prescription or not. a small trace amount of cannabis and your screwed. pretty messed up place we live in. the even more screwed up thing is countries around the world are succumbing to our pressure to make cannabis illegal, reversing their thousands of years of tradition. absolutely ridiculous.

Oh about the Gov...some things don't make sense yea

I once complained about Porn movies with Regular music 25 years ago,,Now...Everyone knows porn music without seeing the movie.Maybe 25 more Years for medical .:2cents:

im just personaly glad you didnt come to some whacked out realization that cannabis is bad for you, so i admire your tenacity in you present circumstances, hodl on ,only a lil while longer you will be alright!!

the govn't has no real justification, thats why i have been hearing alot abot the DEA now jsut wrecking small time grows and taking product instead of trying to persecute, so these cock suckers cant win, know they cant win and have decided to use terrorist tactics on order to scare the same people they supposedly "want" to protect. bunch of slimely liars if you ask me. and yeah you are right about the whole alcohol thing, but it jsut goes to show you where "our" governments ideals really lay.

i know many succelsful people that smoke too, and many of them doctors, and they can diagnose me anytime since the ones that dont seem to have the shittiest bedisde manner and only see you as a "case" as opposed to what you are which is a person who is in need of medical help. cant stand none grounded people. but honeslty they really dont live in fear, what i have seen alot of is professionals have their networks of people they know, just as we all do, so they stick to themselves and once they have found a fellow cannabis user, they start the conversation, or they ll let you start it.

so hold your head up !!! by the time you turn around , it will all be and if you let your smokin buddies know what your going through, they can have a smoke party with a stinky sack-o-green waitin for ya when its all over!!!
