I have some extra spending cash that I been saving for a while now. Now I have about enough to buy DJI phantom 3 drone or I could keep saving up to chip in on a vacation for next year around March, April, or may.

So if it were you what would you do?

Any extra money I have usually gets spent on seeds, I always say oh after these I won't need anymore a month later I see something I want and there it goes.

I think I am done for a while now I need to get growing them to make my investment worthwhile.

Save the cash and invest it.

:yeahthats

I find myself buying beans every month or so after I say I'm going to take a break too. Oh well. I'm hoping that if nothing else I can sell them for what I payed after a year or two and they aren't being made anymore - IF I don't end up popping them.

Anyways, to answer your question. If you don't have some specific reason for buying a drone then I would fool with it. I would spend it on a vacation before a drone for sure.

I have been wanting to buy a motorcycle again but I need to adult first so I keep telling myself to calm the fuck down and keep scraping money together for a down payment on a house. We'll see...

Not sure where you are but if you're in the US, be sure to check out the new laws for drones.. the fines can stiff and go as high as $27,000...

OK ill check out the link.

Well I def don't need any seeds atm, because I have a few hundred seeds and I only grow a small handful each year.
also I don't need any other cool toys like $$$$/bikes or vaporizers or DSLR cameras or (computers knock on wood) lol

I wanted a drone because I'm a photographer and I think it would to get some cool photography shots with a great drone.

I do really like to travel though, but it can be costly $$$$. I have gone on 7day vacations for the last 5 summers in a row. Calf twice, Co/NM once, Seattle and BC Victoria once, and Port Aransas once.
I only got to spend 2 days in Victoria and that wasn't enough time there. I was sad to have to leave. I would love to go back there to spend the full 7 days. But there is also a lot of other places in the world I'd love to travel to.

Lastly I could get a new portrait tattoo of my beloved dogs. They are my whole world. every day I wake up to be with them as much as I can when not working.

THX for the advice keep it coming.

No, i think the person who said save up until you can make a change in your life is good advice. :)

Yea that's not nice!!! C'mon.... I like #1cheesebuds's nose as it is lol

Think he means like save enough to start up a small business or deposit on a home or invest in my small business restoring homes?

Get it all in cash, make a wad and keep it in your pocket at all times. It's a good feeling, (unless there are a lot of bandits around). If at some point you see something you like a lot, show the wad and say "I want it now!". I think most drones will end up under the bed. Holidays are nice, though.

Save enough to make a difference in your life?

Save enough to make a difference in your life?

? not sure what you mean by this?

Instead of buying trinkets I meant save a down payment on a house, enough to start a business or a new car.

Maybe buying a drone is the best life changing thing for you to do.

If all you have is $1K, think about what you would feel like with $10k or $100k.

It's hard to save, but it pays dividends.

Good Luck
