I have a hermie with 2 weeks left

so i have some OG kush growing which became a hermie due to light stress. today, with 2 weeks left i saw a pollin sack sticking out. it was very long and very skinny. i looked at it under 60x and saw it was very immature, not swolen, and compleatly un-opened. after further inspection i picked off about 15 of those things. my question is this.
will my potency be effected because of this? i have 14 days left, and i can fight them off for the time being. what does everyone recomend. it seems like every 3rd bud has 1-2 sacks o them

3 days ago with no visable signs of hermie.

how many days does it take for the slim immature pod to become mature and spread its pollin?

if u only saw 1 sac then i really worry about bad genetics if the clones dont grow any ballz then i would say your good just harvest as planed

its not really balls, its long slender sacks. maybe they fatten up, but i have never seen a full on mature male flower. ill just keep removing them and try not to worry about it

This was the only bannana that I found on my plant. I removed it after I took that picture (week 4 flower I think). I never saw anymore male parts, but towards the 2nd week I started seeing many small swells on the colaxy's on that plant. It pretty much stopped budding and diverted all its energy into massive seed production.

Granted your's are closer to chop than I was, but I thought like you and kept a look out for new balls. I never saw any and still got boned. Luckily the seeds were still immature so there was no problem smoking it, but when ground up there were small seeds the size of a pin head. My hermie was caused from cal/mag def and PM stress. First grow I had PM, then a hermie...nice.

if you have other plants in that room I would chop those early :(
^^^ TOTALY STUPID TING TO SAY !! from the pictures the OP's plant looks AWESOME and i would LOVE to have some of the hermie seeds produced byt hat plant!!! im growing DP femmed mazar that pops nanners and apparently selfs itself..the bud was ridiculous and i got all females!

People are so hermie phobic!! if you read somas book, he tells you that hermi plants(depending on the % of male to female sexual organ ratio) can be an awesome thing. Some plants have more male parts than others but usually hermie seed is a really nice pheno that 'selfs' itself by popping out a banana and nutting on itself thus making seeds(as a self propogation thing). Hermie seed is awesome!!! Have you heard of all female seeds being offered by major seed breeders?? well you will have your own selfed seed if you let the plant go 10-14 days longer than you normally would.

If you do decide to let the plant do what i think you should, and that is let it bloom for an extra two weeks longer to allow the plant to make some of its own seed then thats what i would do. let the seeds mature and SEND ME SOME that plants looks AWESOME!!!! are you nuts??? why would you chop a plant early like that(i could see if it had a buncha male sacks, like a HUGE cluster of male sacks and it was puny nuggs with huge male sacks)..then i could understand..but if you see a banana? or two or threee oreven 5 or 6..thats not a bad thing!!!

ok rant off

the hair is what catches the pollen and the pod that the seed forms in is the ovary itself...i think... yes i too am waiting to see what happens with this one

so a hermie can occur with light leaks during dark hrs, and light stress, what exactly is light stress? too close, etc?
