Hey guys and girls of IC, I have a question.

Would it be okay to take a little popcorn bud off one of my sage and will it harm
my plant? The sage has juss gone into its 7th week and i can smell it right now...F*****G beatiful!! The thing is though ive juss had a beer and really fancy a smoke, so what do you guys think? just one little bud thats all, or will doing this mess the plant up? and does anyone sample one bud time to time?
Im gonna wait till someone replies and if you tell me not to.. i wont! Remember
this is sage into 7 weeks and they still have another 5-6 weeks left. Will i get anything outa a sample?

I don't think it would hurt the plant at all, but I agree with everyone else. Just wait it out, man. You can do it. And it will be that much sweeter because you did wait.

Geez, haven't any of you guys ever licked the frosting off the cake or sampled the stew on the stove before is was done? One little popcorn bud off the bottom of the plant won't hurt anything. Dry it in the microwave and toke that baby up. Won't taste as good as it would have is you had left it, but, what the hell, it's bud!

Why smoke a fast dried immature bud now, when in a few weeks you can be smoking a candy tasting delicious mature nug that gets you high in one hit you know?

No, it doesn't mess up the plant, but I wait until I'm much closer than you are.

I am constantly trimming lower buds and inner buds that won't get light, so that my other buds will get all the energy. These trimmings can be dried and smoked, though they will not be as potent or as good as later, fully-matured bud.

yeh guys its juss the alcohole. Ive just sparked up a ciggy and im fine now..dont want to touch her just in case..ya kno..there only half way through and it will be a waste. Im gonna score tomorrow so ill wait till then. Though the smell is amazing, im not sure if its coming from the sage or the female cinnamon but its frickin nice!,even the smell is mellowing me out!..wonderful. Though today when i was water the sage"s they gave off a urine pissy chemically smell that stings ya nose its that sharp and im thinkin the smells of fruit im smelling now are from the cinnamon..Mmmmm looking forward to smokin them, but im not gonna touch them untill there cured and thats the deal i made with myself. I never normally think about it and im letting them live their lives stress free!!

I do it all the time. Its just the way it is. If it is a nice plant, and this far along, I would do that before I bought some street garbage. If its Indica it pretty much has its size at 7 weeks. If you put a small bud on your computer monitor in a couple days it will be smokable....

Im not going against what other people said because i agree its just that im willing to sample it to see what i kinda have to look forward to ya kno.... Hmmm theres a alot of comments here guys and ill finish this guiness and ponder on it.The smell just keep lingering by.
