well just as the title says. I have this to work with, plus the walk in closet.

I plan to make the closet my mother, veg and clone area. The question i have is what should i build in the main room for flowering. I have experience with soil but i want to go hydro. I want MAX yields and perpetual grow. So do i go bio buckets, dwc, any others? Please let me know for the space i have what would give me the best yields. Also i live in an apartment so i cant run to much wattage and as far as venting, i have no idea what i should do for that. Any help is appreciated. thanks.

What's too much wattage? A computer server would take up a shit ton of watts as would space heaters and all sorts of other energy inefficient items. You could max a space that size out with 6-7kw which would take about 2 tons of A/C to cool. The best way to max out yeilds and go perpetual would be with a sea of green technique. Alot of people have really great results with DTW in coco coir slabs. With enough numbers per lamp, you would not have to veg your rooted cuts at all. You would not need to vent if you had all the gear to maintain the correct environment- CO2, A/C, foggers, dehumidifiers. Obviously, you would still need odor management gear. If you don't want to fool around with sealed room, you could just set up something off of that window for venting.

block the window (obviously) , get on of the ten by ten grow tents for your bloom area. this way you can have bloom set to 12/12 year round and keep puuttin stuff into flower every week or so and u r "perpetual".an you wanna access you veg area 24/7 w/o lighting up your bloom area during sleep/off periods
hydro is NOT forgiving you mess up bad enough your shits lyin over dead real fast :badday:
like half a day fast!!! soil is more forgiving but hydro (my method) is soooo good if done correctly!!!! soil can kick ass too just not my "cup o tea".
use an ebb n flo technique its the most forgiving of hydro-setups. get a book on it be it rosenthal, cervantes, franks, whatever. Tina Hans writes a very easy to read understand book you can read it in one or two evenings/sittings.
it will help you greatly!!! :chin:
apt huh????? you sure you got the privacy issue well thought out???
maintenace people, the bug man, etc!!!!
those people will check your place out even if just a casual look around!!! :yoinks:
the maint guy used to smoke outa my stash while i was in college in off campus apt. :sasmokin:
have you got that part handled (security!)???
good luck,
buzz!

buzz - i have lived in the apt complex already for a year and did a small closet grow. They cant come into your room without notifying you first or unless you give them permission to enter and fix something... so i never had a problem. I also am gonna get a lock for the grow room door so i can keep it locked when i am gone. I am thinking aslong as i keep the noise down a bit and the smell under control i should have no problems. What lighting would you reccemond for a 10 x 10 space using the ebb and flow, would i be growing trees or sog? Can the ebb and flow be made or should i buy the setup.

thanks. looking to start in 4 months..

you NEED to get a book!!

you NEED to get a book!!

"John", i am glad u r secure about ur security risk(s)

its not the whole floor space in there (bloom tent) u wanna cover it the grow area(s) remember u/ll need space to get in and out and to work on your plants/check em out etc...

i could lecture/advice you for days about what next and i am gonna tell you.
enter "T HANS marijauna" into ANY search engine and her book will come up
i/m pretty sure "amazon" 's got em. or if u are into readin, jorge cervantes writes some more "in depth stuff" but the T. Hans book is so damn down to earth that i recomend it to any newb who asks.
go to your nearest big book store like borders, barnes & noble they carry em in the "gardening" section.

you have made the decision to grow (again) you need to take some time and
read up on the subject some good books exist i have read nearly all of them.
authors;ed rosenthal, jorge cervantes, greg green, T. HANS to name a few!

please do this for your own good and trhen come back to this forum to ask some questions like you are.

this site should NOT be your PRIMARY education on this subject!!
this site should be a supplement to that PRIMARY education.
once u read a good book u will be educated to the next level (big picture speaking)
and then u can ask a question from a better perspective, which you will need to understand the "answers" we offer/give you.
peace!
BUZZ!
