I prefer to work alone, but I got started working with a partner. Also had help from an electrical buddy. I still use a different electrical buddy. Worked, and works, great.

If you find yourself constantly disappointed by those you surround yourself with, look in the mirror. Innate human nature is not the problem here.

The commonality of this issue in growing IMO is that many in this line of work are shady losers whom naturally surround themselves with a similar sub-species.

I know of some partnerships that work out... for dealers.

One grower, an expert and one salesman, another expert.

Growers can't have people coming around and salesman can't give up their source.

Best if the salesman don't know where the grow is. Harvest 4 times a year. Meet up for exchange in safe spot, see you again next time joe. Be done.

Outside of that no need for partner.

i have a partner, he invested all the cash and pays all the bills related to the grow. i give him 1/3 of what i grow and the chance to buy the rest for a better then average price. it's been working out good so far but we have been good friends for around 10 years.

i used to be a partner's with another friend, he had the set up and everything going but he needed a hand with keeping up with all the work and he had to leave state for 2 months to take care of family problems. i learned so much from him and made a nice bit of cash, plus i got to live out in there for free for 9 months.

but ya, if you can do it on your own then your probably better off.

Guess I am the anomaly. I have a partner and we grow twice as much as I could alone, been working for years (shrug) he's never done me wrong and I have never done him wrong. In fact we are best friends.

I am truly blessed.

yup, i had a grow with a 'partner' and 2 days before harvest, everything disappeared including my grow equipment! (oh yeah they had a dog but it happened to be gone that night :0 )

while he was busy looking for the 'real thieves' there were about 1000 holes that showed up in his story.
