I like to keep as few plants growing at any time as possible so when I get a new seed pack I want to quickly pick the best of the bunch by comparing them head to head.
I grow the whole pack out flower the moms and very shortly after harvest, as soon as it's possible to physically burn them, I sample and try to eliminate the definite unwanted quickly.
The ones that are interesting in any way I keep and label what's interesting about them and keep sampling over a couple of weeks to narrow down to the keepers.
But it just occurred to me that maybe I should be waiting for a full cure to compare them because that's how they are going to be enjoyed in the long run.
Then I thought maybe there is a proper way to do this and I should try to find out.
Is there a better way to do this?
