I cant get my girls to finish

I am in the 8 week of flower and the buds keep growing out foxtail style, but no resin glands. Not even the stalks. They seem to be growing more not finishing. How do I stop all veg growth and make them finish the flowering cycle?

Some strains take longer to flower - What strain? Whats photoperiod now?

Maybe turn back the lights more.

If you're on a 12/12 schedule, turn back to 10/14

Are you growin a sativia? You might have another 2 to 4 weeks or more to go anyway.

strain is unkown, but they are obviously leaning toward the sativa side. I was already thinking it might take as much as 12wks for them to finish. It just seems that for them to be ready by then they need to start maturing.

if the light is 12 hours start creeping it back 10 mins a day
this should send a signal that its harvest time for the plant.

wow that seems strang that your at 8 weeks and no resin production. sounds alot like shawg weed.

i grew 1 pack of the free skunk #1 and only got 1 female plant and it too had very little resin on it the whole flower time. shawg weed

Hey gro I wasted 6 months on some suppossed SSH from Mr. Nice last year ( it was the vendor that sold me bunk seeds not Mr. Nice) after a 4 month flower and no finish I got pissed and ripped them out.

Do you know what you are growing or where they came from? A lot of sats can take 4-6 months to finish. If they are good genetics hang in there.

be patient. 'no' glands maybe only very small. I had a bag-seed sativa pheno that took for-fucking-ever to complete. yet, when finished, (4-months) I had a 8.5 oz of fluffy, glistening buds from a closet scrog....the smoke was like a razor through the mind...very very energetic--almost extatic. i MoM'd her...but can never bring myself to comit to the time to grow her again.

i'd show some pics but they were all on OG and I can't find my back ups. sorry.

These seeds were buddies I have no info as to where they came from.

These ladies are more or less just some nonsense we are growing to get the room dialed in properly before we run the good genetics

but even still i need some resin to make my bubble

420Kushmaster, I too grew out my Skunk #1 freebies. Low germination rate due to they were old, but..i did find a splended female that is the queen of my grow show. She started packing on trichs around only 2 weeks into 12/12..so i'm wondering what is wrong with yours. This skunk #1 is the best plant i have grown to date, maybe i just lucky. -Opt

lol yea opt i think you got lucky ill never grow seeds that are free again. i dont grow seeds that cost less than 40.00 usd. thats just my rule but im glad you got a good female. skunk is a nice strain. for sure i got jewed on the deal.

Back on subject, I also cut my lights down to 10.5/13.5 late into flower. You might have one of those 110day sativas. But...Oh the high...really up in the head..
