i burned my plants using EWC tea

i gave them a good flush i think it was more of a faulty ph pen and i poured the tea in the higher ph than it actually read anyways flushed them real good they're starting to make a come back it appears but when i say burn it burnt it so bad all the leafs fell off in some parts but it did leave the next branch to pop out and on alot of them that has shown these are mature been vegged a full 2 months it appears a few are going to pul through with no kinda troubles the rest i dont know if they're worth waiting for that vegetation to grow in when i already got clones going was thinking about saving the couple i can and throw some clones in a month or so in to there growth a lil soon but it'll still give me something to smoke which to be honest is all i care about my card :) wish i could take some pics for you but our digital cam took a shit to the misses breaks about one a month its ok she wasnt born like that we still love her :)

Feel you on the digital camera's, we go thru so many in my house (3 kids & the Mrs). The Mrs even left my good $$$$$ Cannon slr on the floor when she was taking pics of the new puppy (Bull Mastif x German Shepherd). Puppy Vs Camera = 1st win for the puppy!!!!!!!!!!

You did bubble your EWC tea, didnt you?

wow... that's a first... never heard of anyone burning anything with ewc tea... what was in your tea? list ALL ingredients if you can... i've used ewc tea in my cloner before and one would think that'd burn or hurt sensitive plants

um first thing i do for a 4 gallon batch i get one cup or 8 ounces of ewc i put them in a tupperware and add baby oatmeal 1 teaspoon pergallon of water then i get this mixture just barely wet and put a lid on it let it sit for a few days this gives the fungi a head start on the bacteria to give you more even teas beings the bacteria multiply like wildfire unlike the fungi which actually take time i wait till the ewc and baby oatmeal with the tiny water just enough to moisten the EWC and once it looks like grandpas beard i put the EWC in a nylon i then add one tablespoon of molasses per gallon of tea i plan on making this is the ecact way to do this i read outta teaming with microbes supposedlly the bible to organic growing i dunno i used the teas on my lasst crop and really enjoyed the results was really looking forward to using them but i can use them if they're going to keep doing this

your water ph is jacked... your water has chloramine; your water has too much chlorine; etc... you were just feeding them water... you didn't brew the tea right... there are a lot of things that can go wrong... the more information we have the easier it is to help you

what are your ambient temps in your grow room?
how did you create the tea? ingredients? airpump? brewing time?
what medium are your plants in?

if nothing else just throw em in the corners of your flowering room; any smoke is better than no smoke

i use ro water and it comes out at 6.8 ph and i dont go below or above 64 degrees these days with the ac still running i use an ammended soil i created a simple EWC tea which consisted of EWC and baby oatmeal mixed togetther then added a tiny bit of water to give the fubgus a head start beings they gro alot slower than bacteria evens teas out a lil more then 1 tablespoon for every gallon of water and rand two airstones in it for 2 days not even i dont thinnk beings its alot warmer here in the summer time i can have tea ready to go overnight when the ambient temps are 100-105 but ya i think the pen was whacked out i went and bought a real good quality pen now and got 3 outta the 6 i killed to make a full come back were 3 weeks into flowering almost 4 at 4 is when ill hit them with there first "feeding" even though i dont really feed because everythings in the soil i do add a worm tea i buy and a steamed bone meal 2 times during floer once at 30 days then once at 45 then after that i use nothing but water trying to flush best as you can in organic gardening in organic gardening i dont think you can really truly "flush" your plants in true organic gardening because there food is always in the soil ive never noticed any kinda taste or anything still somewhat new to this going to be switching to hydro here in no time so well probablly after i can pull down 2 more i should have the money for tables and rez's and what not but like i said i think it was the acidic nature of the tea i poured on them that almost killed everything i gotta good waTERPROOF PEN SO THIS oops sorry can not happen again it was a real bummer and really took one harvest away from me this year just a small mess up like that and your totally shut down luchkfully i seen it coming so i saved a lil extra or i'd probablly be out too :)
