I am Fucking PISSED!

Just dropped 18 well rooted clones of Original Diesel, Katsu Bubba K, KKSC, Cherry AK-47, Pure Kush and Sour Diesel yesterday. Sometime last night my circuit breaker died. Woke up this morning to 18 dead plants, and 130 degree temps in the room! Mother fucker! All over a damn c/b that was the air conditioner circuit. 2400 watts in a sealed room with no a/c = bad for little plants. Now, I am forced to go buy more cuts from some club, or wait another 10 days or so for new ones to root. Such bullshit. :cuss: :badday:
FUCK ME RUNNING! Gonna have to slap my electrician upside the head, with a baseball bat. lol Zenesco twin 20 amp c/b's for a single slot aren't the cheapest to get either, since nobody fucking uses em anymore.
Ok, now that I have vented, I have to go get a new breaker and probably some cuts at outrageous prices.

They DO make a "tool" for that... temp activated switch that'll SHUT ER DOWN if it gets toooooo high. Leaned the SAME way... after 45 days of flowering... VERY costly mistake.

I have a kill switch activated by a thermostat.

I lost a 400 plant crop that was 3 weeks in flower when a breaker fried while I was on a trip. :spank:

That will only happen once!! :cuss:

Well, look at the bright side... they were just "well" rooted clones, NOT day 45 of flower as previously mentioned.

Sorry to hear about that. Did you have moms of each? If so it's only time you lost right? If not I really feel for you losing those killer genetics. Best of luck getting those replaced somehow.
Peace,Mr.M

Pimp Aurora -:lmao: it is rather ironic huh. LOL
Noob - at least you saved yours, mine were like the Colonels chicken - fried.
Northern Farmer and Mapleboy - yes, I am going to put in a thermal switch now, so the 1K's will shut off if the A/C fails again. Although I dont anticipate that happening again, I'm going to have make some redundant safety systems.
Buddy Boy - Thanks for the sympathy pains. It's like having your nuts in a vice, not the most pleasant feeling.
Ghost - yes. at least they weren't farther along. Then I would have been really pissed off.
Mr. M - yes I have mothers of each except for the Sour D. But I do have some S.D. beans that just sprouted.

On the bright side, a co-op here in the LBC had some cuts, so I went and picked up some Sour D and Bubba K cuts to replace the lost babies. SO after a bit of rework in the breaker panel, and adding a thermal switch I should be rocking again by tonight. I decided to interlock the circuits for the 1K's with the A/C as well, so if the A/C trips the breaker everything but the 400 watter goes off.

Thanks for the sympathies folks!

Glad to here you will be back up and running in no time. But if it makes you fill any better, the cuts you lost and replaced in a days time, ill Never have access to. LOL Great genes you have there. You lucky dog you :)

You might want to buy a $9.95 "power failure alarm" while you're shopping. No good if you're not home, but if you are....

Glad to hear you are back up and running! Great idea to use redundant safeties for sure. Like smoke1sun said you have access to some great genetics. I'm a wreck if a even think I might lose one of my moms and everything I have is from retail seed.
Peace, Mr.M

Northern Farmer - Thanks and good growing to you as well.
Smoke1sun - It was nice to get back on track and only lose a days time. Hopefully you can get some of those "elite" genetics.
Oblidio - I will actually end using a PLC to control the grow, I was just short on some auxiliary components. When the PLC is the controller, I can tie it into a modem and have any alarms sent via text message to a cell phone. I usuaqlly use PLC's, since that's what I do for a living. This was just a small 2400 watt grow, so I didn't see the need to spend the $$$ on some components I needed. Now I of course wish I had, but hindsight is always 20/20 so the saying goes.
Mr. M - Thanks. Glad it was only a day too. Redundant safeties for sure man! Glad my mom's didn't get hit. That would have been a real bummer. Been collecting genetics from all over, would have hated to lose any of them.

Thanks for everyone's kind words.
Cheers

it has happened to all of us bro! at least they werent in bud or huge, imagine getting mites/thripes/fungi nats & white flies & have them spread from 10 to 10,000,000 in a week that can kill a crop easy & mold/mildew your buds!

you'll be ok bro, start some more clones, pop some elite beans & you'll be tight on the kushs/diiesel etc. sure does suck to lose elite clones & waist 10 days-3 weeks getting them very well rooted but to put shit into perspective=you should be happy ya dint lose ur moms bro! peace

Working with electrical all the time, I have to wonder why your curcuit was overloaded in the first place? I suspect you are talking about a tandum breaker that went out on you. I recommend getting two more tandum breakers and devide up your load so this never happens again. Maybe even a GFCI breaker would be more costly but in the long run it might save your but.
