Hypothetical MMJ garden question.

Okay, so say I move to a med. state and get a rec. for say, 20 plants, half of which can be "mature" and half of which have to be "immature" (which I have been led to believe means mature plants are flowering and immature plants are not?)...but lets say the place has a limit of marijuana you can have to like 3 LBs or something...

What happens if the cops decide to bust in your door and you are within your limits - under 3 LBs of bud, 10 immature plants, and 10 mature plants...but lets say those 10 mature plants are CLEARLY going to produce over 3 LBs when harvested. Does this change anything? Or is it still within the limits and they would have to bust in after harvest if they wanted to pinch ya?

For instance, if I was to be using this system (I know its a hard system just saying, what if I was proficient at it) or something similar in yield... https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=170268

I mean, you can't really say you're 10 plants with 4 LBs hanging off each one is only going to yield 3 LBs, right? Lol

I think you are fine, hypothtically, i may be in a med state myself, in such a state they usually say things like useable product...obviusly your over if you chop em all at once but why cant you chop one every few days an then use it, cook with it or something. Just my 2 cents.

Pretty sure specified amounts of bud refer to harvested, dried and processed bud (i.e. ready to smoke). So if your county limit was 3 lbs. you could have 3lbs of bud plus have another 3 just about ready to chop - as long as you dispatched the previous 3lbs before chopping, you should be good.

That's 5 Ounces a plant, Im sure that can be done. I dont have the space to even begin to try but Im sure it could be done.
To answer your question, most medical laws say "x amount of usable product" So the plants being mature it doesnt matter what the yield is going to be. If you are over after drying then you should probably donate it to another patient or something.

Thank you for the replies everyone, they answered my question perfectly!

PS - I was just throwing out RANDOM ass numbers haha...and ask Krunch or Doubled about getting 3 LBs with 10 plants, those niggahs be getting 3 LBs PER plant.

3 Lbs outdoor per plant maybe but I wouldn't believe 3 Lbs per plant indoors. :p

two six hundreds per decent yielding plant, and a good feeding regiment and you can easily pull close to a lb a plant. I have seen it done
