Hydroponic Controller arduino based DIY

I have been research on the internet for automation DIY. I found this one beauty. it is called Billies Hydroponics Controller.

It is an arduino based program in DIY format. The code is dated by four years so a few updates for the code are required, depending on your needs.

Here is the arduino forum where the code and parts list can be found.

Thats cool AvidLerner

I noticed we both been here for a few years and don't post too often lol.

I want to go down a similar, but more simple route.

I want to get a HomeSeer controller. Then use zwave devices to turn things on and off. Hardwire AC switches are about $40, and they actually monitor kWh consumption and reports that back to the control. There is a $50 sensor that monitors temp, humidity, motion and light level. There are very good "if this than that" control statements available. An example... IF driveway motion detector is activated AND my hobby room door is unlocked THEN flash indicator light in hobby room.

I get lost in this stuff. I think Arduino stuff looks really cool. If start playing with that, the family may never see me again. Lol.

I been using a Wink control and zwave devices in my home automation system for a couple years. It has been very reliable.
