Hey guys how are ya'll doin :rasta:  ?! I'm here asking anybody who HAS or has MEASURED out in person the HydroHuts or Sun Huts 2x4 hut. I had the person at my local store order me the Sun Hut 2x4 and he got it in put it together and said that it didn't really come to "2x4" he said it was more like 3x4 1/2ish or something like that but def. not what it's supposed to be (2x4). Now I saw the hut up(if it was really the 2x4) and that thing really was HUGE not even CLOSE to 2ft. deep at ALL. I'm just wondering if he got the wrong one in or is showing me a wrong model for some reason? Please get back to me ASAP because if the Hydrohut or Sun Hut 2x4 really measures out to the 2x4 it's supposed to I need to get one ASAP, but if it doesn't then it won't fit in my closet. I also don't see why they would advertise it for 2x4 and then have it be 3x4ish? He said something about getting another sized Sun hut that was to big by about a foot from what it was supposed to be? So any of you guys out there with the huts please get back to me ASAP it's MUCH MUCH MUCH appreciated  ! Take it easy guys and woohoo :headbange I popped my thread/post cherry :jump: !

yeah I know I saw that, but I found out that the "sun huts" are actually about 37in or about that instead of the advertised 24(2ft.). I'm pretty positive the "hydro Huts" ARE really 2x4(well I think 2ft 3in x 4ft). Anybody who actually has a HYDROHUT(not Sun Hut) 2x4 can you let me know how they are and what light they use in it please? Thanks guys and thank you someguy I'm not lazy I did check out websites before I posted this, but like I said the sun huts say 2x4 but their really aroudn 37in deep so I figured maybe the hydro hut's were the same way.

Just wanted to throw a warning out to ya about these indoor Huts. I was having some serious issues with what looked like a nute problem and it turned out to be the hut.

Check out the link here:
http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=81061&highlight=hydro+hut

It appears that most huts are affected with this problem. The materials used are secreting a vapor or something and KILLING plants. No Shit !!

Possible health risk to humans as well.

Do a "hydro Hut" search on ICMAG and you'll find hundreds of people that lost crops due to these huts. I know it sounds crazy but I assure you this is no joke. :nono:

Hope that helps.

This is what a Hydro Hut did to my plants within 1 week. I lost the previous crop because I was unaware of the problem. I was able to save these plants though. Hydro Hut is going in the trash. In another week I would have been trashing my Purple Kush as well.

Hey Pirate  !!! Thank you tons for your help and concern, but I already knew of the problem and it was in 'hydro huts' only I think(don't think other companies had the problem but I don't know for sure). Also the problem has been FIXED :headbange :woohoo: !!!!! If you check a few threads above mine there is one about the huts all being fixed and the company 'Hydro Huts' taking in old Huts that were effected and giving you a new one that has the problem fixed :rasta: ! I'm so sorry to hear about your plants but I'm glad you were able to save them they looked like they were beautiful before the huts did that and I'm sure they turned out good after the hut hehe! Anybody else that has a 2x4 HYDRO HUT ONLY(because I now know the sun huts aren't really 2x4 for SURE after visiting my local store today) please let me know if they are really the 25-27inches they advertise to be please!!

They've named them after the INSIDE dimensions not the finished outside dimensions.

HydroHut

This appears to show actual outside dimensions unless they are inconsistent when they manufacture them.

Sniffs - whoa hold up there buddy. I've yet to see one thread where anyone claimed that their fixed hydrohut skin is actually corrected. Many are claiming the same issues..even with the new canvas.

I just got canvas back for a 2x4 hydrohut kinder garden but am afraid to put it to use and risk my plants suffering again. The HydroHut kinder Garden is infact a 2x4 and will allow a 4' fixture and a 2x4 white tray. I dont have exact measurements at the moment.

On the other hand the HOMEbox CloneBox (the non-toxic brand) is 2x4, but that is outer dimension and will not fit a white 2x4 tray.. and a 4' fixture taunts the canvas...but can be crammed in there.

Hi Sniffs

I had a 4x4 Hydrohut (sun hut clone), and it was like 52.5 inches wide/deep.

I estimate the 4x2 sun hut will be like 26 or 27 inches deep and 52.5 inches wide.

You likely saw the 4x4 sun hut.
