Hydrofarm Habitat 4x8x7 2008

What up fellow ICmaggers! I just upgraded my grow room and thought i should start a new thread for the new year. The wifey got me a Hydrofarm 4x8x7 for my birthday and i finally got it all set up. Me and my bud set it up in about five hours but we took lots of weed break. To be honest probably half that time was spent smoking
Strains
1.Northern Lights (got it as a clone form a friend)
2.Hawaiian x Purple Kush (also received as a clone)
3.Godberry (Grown from seed)
4.Menage a Trois (grown from seed)
5.Speed Queen (grown from seed)
6.Og Kush (received as a clone and is the real deal cut)

I have moms of the nl, Hawaiian x Purple Kush, Godberry, Mississippi Mud, Hashberry, and the Og Kush. There are two digital 600 hps air cooled by a six inch can fan in the habitat. Only half of the set up is on because i wasnt really expecting to get this. Clones are cut though and are rooting up nicely. Here are some pics taken two days ago.

Og almost done its at about 53 days. I totally stressed this plant out. I locked out the nutes for sure and corrected it too late.





Veg closet. Kinda empty but soon to be full and will have an af grow as well in a couple weeks.

Had to double up my clone load and take bigger cuttings so i can get the other side of the tent flowering.

This looks really interesting dude, I have been thinking a lot about getting a 4 x 8 hydro hut. I know its a bit early but honestly how do you feel about it? What are you temps at the canopy when both the lights are on and its all closed up? I know it was a present but do you think it was worth the price?

Hey thanks for checkin out the grow! Thanks big i hope she puts out fat. I am trying to make this a perpetual grow so i can harvest around every two weeks. To answer your q Northern i love my hut. I didnt wanna blow up my whole room and plus i wanted to keep my closet in the room a veg area. I usually do an autoflower run in my closet. I will check the canopy temps tonight. The price wasnt bad for what it is. I can open it on all four sides and all the flaps down the zippers have velcro on them. It is super easy to assemble. Plus i got it for four bills flat from my boy at the hydro store so i had to jump on it. way better then my three by three hut.

Hey Seeds light one up and kick it. It should be a fun ride for 2008. what up Zoo i cant wait to fill up the other side. I am so tempted to just throw my moms in there LOL. It will be another two to three weeks before i can start filling it in. Gotta let the clonies root up a lil bit.

hey do you think there is any way you could buy an 8 inch flange and modify this to be 8 inch intakes and exhaust?? thanks

Yeah you could hook up eight inch ducting but the only thing is is that all the intake and outtake holes are all cut to hold six inch flanges. You could hook up a eight inch to six inch ducting converter and that should work.

but my shop didnt carry them yet so i ended up with the HHut D (could be trouble)

Hey whats uppers Sir! Yeah my woman is great but dont think it didnt come without me making a lot of most likely false promises Oh well i can pay for it later. My girl got me a bunch of shirts and clothes for xmas and my birthday too and i kinda called her out on it. I told her never to buy me clothes so i told her to return them. She gave in and said what do i really want and i let her know lol. She puffs for med reasons like myself so she was cool with it.

I will be peeking over the front row if u dont mind.I dig the show and will hang out if u dont mind. I recieved some cuts a little bit ago of 2 purple kush and 2 sour diesels so am curious at ur pk cross.


The rooms are mostly afgan goo x trainwreck cross.

Hey vinny light the joint up and hang out. The pk cross i have is lovely. Very unique funky smell even at these early stages of flower. You instantly get a pleasant whiff of it when you brush up against it. Your afgan goo x trainwreck cross sounds like a great indica sativa hybrid.

I have twins girl and boy 2 yrs on last turkey day so pics arent that easy sometimes as they are full time job. Due to my wife making so much money I am homemaker. I am really eager to flower the 2 clones I got. Just topped the 2 so I can make a mother. Between the pk the sour d and the goo tw cross I should be good on variety.But I got some blue sonja beans I just have to pop and try. Ohhhh wish I had more time in the day.heheheh will try to take some pics for ya.

Hey there ogatec. My digi 600s push out only a lil less lumens then a 1000 watt. If you look at the above pic you will notice how the light overlaps almost halfway into the other side of the tent. With both lights on that tent is lit the hell up. I was thinking of maybe putting a 250 in the middle but like i said the canopy is covered with light evenly all throughout when both lights are on. Plus i need a small area in the middle to have access to the back of the tent.

Ok i was trying to come up with a SOG soil system that will work in my grow and i think i have found a solution.
First i cut the bottoms off of these five inch pots.


Found this drainage tray today at the hydro store.

Then i fill that tray up with dirt and also the pots. I placed the pots upside down on top of the soil in the tray. I have space to veg four of these trays at a time. I will place rooted clones in a tray hopefully every week or so. I can fit seven of the five inch upside down pots in each tray.





what you all think? seem like it will work? I was planning on veggin for two weeks then throwing it into flower.
