Hello M8s,

I think Its Time we Have a Beginners Guide Thread so the new Blokes like myself can Have a Good Understanding on setting up a Grow Room from top to Bottom. A fool proof guide. That explains How to do wiring Ventilation. Every Thing.

I would Like to go Hydro and looking between 5-7k watts. All the room I need.
How do I set this up. Especially Wiring?

This should be a good post. I feel most Newbs fear asking questions because of aggressive oldtimers even when search has been exausted.

Well àn oldtimer would have a valid point being aggressive since you didn`t search; I have no problem with it hell, I`ve had some bad questions before but...this is ICMAG man theres files on everything, as much as you can read...you just have to do some searching...Go to the DIY section in Grows Equip....there are some big setups around 5-10,000 watts.......buy an electrial book and read peoples expierances on here...good luck

Since this is a production grow, the first money needs to be spent on the total package design, then the environmental pieces can be fragged down, sourced and brought in. The biggest issues will be ventilating the grow without damaging the building structure, quality electrical wiring (you will want to go 220 volt here) and a plumbing of floor drains and water supply. Good pre-planning before you hire the electrician will ensure the job is done quickly, efficiently and with a minimum of wasted resources and time. All of these will pay you big dividends as the grow moves forward.

I have always found there is a direct relationship between my desire to have professional assistance with the wiring and the distance my bedroom was going to be from the business. If it is in your house man, you want a qualified electrician to do it without a doubt.

Last thought before we descend into all the technical details - safety and security require more work than just lip service and the pay-off cannot be calculated in dollars.

If u can't use search and figure out how to put together a decent size grow room u have problems . If u really needa know somthing specialized u can always make a new thread but 95% of the information is already there

No, I was just pointing out that anyone who can do what you first asked, probably has their own real work to do. And that while you say beginner, 5-7K is not an entry level set up. There is no one way to do this gig, and folks who wait to be told what to do, have not made the committment to do it well. Those motivated to seek out their info seem to have more success. Read, learn, do.

Would I still need ventilation If I put two window AC's in the Room? I wish to avoid dispersing large amounts of heat from the site. Id there away to avoid plumbing?

I agree. Safety and Security will be At the Top of the list all Electrical work that I will learn that needs to be done by way of this thread will be done mainly profesionally...So lets get Technical

O. well in that case you exit thread aswell and dont come back. Im not here to be told what I can and cant do Im here to learn, and as far as been told what to do basically is to avoid trial and error im not intrested in pitfalls and mistakes just so i can say i went through a learning curb. Outdoe, Haps has a real point. You are wanting to set up a commercial(5-7 is not personal) grow and you want us to help you do it. If you have not already figured out how to do it, you should not be attempting it. I can set up a 10-12K grow in my sleep and do the wiring myself, but I rarely lay it all out there for new folks or else I would be repeating myself daily. There are hundreds of threads here by young folks who want to become drug barons and grow commercially. The info is here and all you have to do is look. Since you are too lazy, i am out of here and I suspect, since you have a pissy attitude towards those who could help, most other folks will ignore this thread. Have a great grow!

I have a Pissy attitude with those who are not helping. I said do not comment if you are not contributing, plain and simple. I could careless if they could help point is there not, so I wish they just stop posting and let the few who are going to help...help.

The majority of you guys in this thread are just like the children cutting across my lawn every day I have to tell you stop cutting across the yard Rebel grass seeds aint cheap!
