RDWC is the best hands down. But it is the moast costly to build and watter temps must be maintained with a chiller. I think flood and drain and drip systems are probably the easiest.

Well I'm lookin for an easy all in one system that's easy to put together. I was lookin into the aerojet 4 or the 6. Doesn anyone with experiance with aero please chime in.

Im thinking about aero too. Here is the thing, its prob the most advanced and rewarding hydro system to go with however the most delicate. One electrcity outage or pump/nozzle malfunction and your plants will die. It really pushes the feeding/oxygen cycle faster and better than any other system. I have a cap ebb and grow but have not used and gladly so as I have found out that you have to have a very level ground, and water/nutes get stuck in the line and it doesnt always drain properly and that is a BIG problem causing roots to get stagnant water is no bueno! so if you can invest time and effort and have the room and can afford to learn on a 1-2 runs than go for it. And who knows if you stay on top of it and dont overfeed you could have success the first time out!

<---ooops , was just tryin' to get that
image url in your siggy to work ! ;)

In any case , how large u want to go is a factor , E&F the simplest
would say , great results with E&D with rocks ...& top drip DTW is also
fairly nice n easy ...just use full throated 1/4" fittings & lines-to-pots ,
no barbed fittings BS , that get clogged .

Some love the ebb n flow/rocks & this one fellow tales it just a little
one step farther

I couldn't disagree more....

Kushking20,
You sure asked a very loaded question on this forum, You are bound to get tons of conflicting answers here.

I can give you an opinion with 20+ years of hydro experience and it's just that, another opinion from someone whom you don't know.

First:
to properly answer that question, what style of grow are you planning? SOG, Trees

Second:
what is more important, ease of use, or performance?

Depending on those two answers, a completely different system will be the best choice. For the sweet spot, ease of use, and performance the answer is plain old DWC.
If you want to have a very aggressive SOG garden flowering with little or no veg, aero will destroy the competition but you have to be in the groove to make it worth it.

If you want to grow trees in aero, the extra veg time often has you struggling just to finish the grow 3 weeks until chop. You will be unclogging nozzles with a sewing needle taped to a coat hanger with a flashlight and a mechanics mirror. You will wake up in the middle of the night just to go make sure the roots aren't clogging the return flow to the rez again!!! You will feel like throwing a huge party and get all your friends high if you pull it off neglecting to tell them how hard it was...

Every style of hydro has it's ups and downs, I believe DWC is likely the best choice for ease of use and performance, after that diminishing returns start to come in. Yes other styles will perform better than DWC but they are more work and you have to hit a home run with the grow to make the extra work worth it.

Getting into RDWC, and UC, is alot like aero, it will beat DWC every time if done right, but depending on your skills and expectations, the extra boost might not be worth the work put into it.

Aero also has many forms, most are low pressure and have a very limited root space. High pressure aero rules all but requires a seasoned professional to pull it off. It is also extremely high maintenance to the point you are afraid to leave it alone more than a day so forget going out of town unless you have a rare competent person to look after it for you.

Aerohead thanks for advice.I plan on runnin sog and i want ease and performance if possible. U was lookin at those uC in that link that Tfresh420 posted. It's either the UC Aerojet. Which should be the easiest of these two systems as in maintance and rez changes?

I would choose the Aerojet for sog over UC mainly because you won't need to run a chiller on the Aerojet unless your ambient is real high. Have you looked at Aeroflo? they are awesome for SOG and they are modular so you can expand easily.
