hydro nutes in soil.....

has anyone tried using the gh three part hydro nutes in soil? i started two hempy buckets and am using them for that and what i like about them(nutes) is that they are ph stable. my ph stays within the range of 6.2-6.5 without any ph adjustments. i would like to use these nutes in soil as i have had ph problems with the floranova series of nutes when i used silica blast to excess. i gotta addmit, the hempy thing is workin much better than the sunshine4 ive been using. i went over to soil with my new clones and its workin ok but the hempy ones are doing much better. i dont wanna use hydro nutes in the soil if its not a good idea. thanx fer the help.....peep

This is my thread and i'm gonna quote it anyway b/c i think it will help you...

i had the same question in the past but now i have used GH (2 part, 8ml Micro / 15 ml Bloom per gallon) for hmmm over a year now, possibly closer to two. I also did 2 e&f in there with the same nutes. Maybe i could get some better results with something else but i think that the 2 part has everything my plants need as long as i keep to my soil mix that includes worm casting because i know they gooble up the N in veg (a week or two max) and early flower.

...just letting you know it can be done. I have been gardening for a while so when my ladies get a little blown of course i usually see it really fast. If anything i always err on the side off under feeding then over b/c underfeeding is a lot easier to overcome.

also, since i use GH and organic soil i flush hard in the last 2 weeks and my bud is the definition (of definition) of a clean burn. I knwo people say that chems make the bud taste bad but thats all BS. Plants use chemicals to grow, if they are organinc or not they are still converted into the chemical needed for photosynthesis by the plant.. just flush well and you'll be happy.

peace bro.

here is a little encouragement:

natagonnaworrie, NICE! ya just wanna hug 'em dontcha! thanx fer the reply. i also agree about the chem vs. organics. the plant does what it needs ta do ta get ta where its goin! thanx for the encouragement. ill post pics as soon as i can figger out how to do it! by the way... i make my own soil from the dirt outside and its soo good that i planted carrots last year and they were not just huge but also almost perfectly str8! i can put my hand up to the wrist into the dirt with just a small wiggle of the fingers and light constant pressure. my plants like it better than sunshine 4. and it has mostly worm castings from my worm farm. i love this grow thing!

"chemical nutes" which means absolutely nothing except the fact that they are extracts and not your general bat shit and whatever else you want to use, you still FLUSH when you use soil nutes, and that is the only time you will ever encounter a bad taste, which is really a "harshness" not so much a bad taste. Just do a good flush and nothing will be left but pure dankness. Also if your really worried then either A. use a final phase flushing aid or B. use some kind of flushing either pure water or flushing product once every 2 weeks or so.... I do both...
Anyway back to the matter at hand just wanted to say that i started with using hydro nutes in soil (guided by my friend) and came out with great results. I have now switched to coco but its all stuff roots grow in, you just need to make sure the roots get enough oxygen and water, no light, the nutes can be used in whatever form you want.

Let us know how it goes.. I expect very well with that soil...

do you have to keep an eye out for bugs and critters when bringing your soil in from outdoors?
