Hydro Logic Reverse Osmosis Filter?

I'm considering buying a Hydro Logic Stealth RO100 or R200 unit this week and was curious if anyone would have any reason to talk me out of it.

My tap water has crazy high PPM's. I'm talking high five hundreds. So I've been carting ro water from the grocery at a cost of 50 cents a gallon and it's getting old, real old.. My water needs on a daily basis is about five gallons.

Any Hydro Logic owners wish they had gone with an alternative brand or different model?

Is anyone else also using their ro filters for drinking water?

Thanks for any/all input people!

I have a spectra pure 100 which is basically the same unit as the HL unit.

Hurry up and get one is my advice! I was doing the trips to the store with my five gallon jug and it just got tiring.

I give it to my dogs but I drink bottled spring water.

Hydro Logic is a good brand. I have a Spectra Pure RO and a H-L Small Boy with the KDF-85 carbon filter. Happy with both. Tried carrying water-no dice. Too much work, backache, spillage, didn't want neighbors seeing me carrying that much water all the time. Too much to not raise suspicion. Convenience is a huge plus. Good luck. -granger

Purewaterclub.com. Thats where I got my RO unit from. 7 stage system with dual outlets. One to a 2 gallon tank for drinking water at 80-100 ppm and the other outlet at 0ppm which goes into a 50 gallon reservoir on a float valve. 300GPD and around $200 shipped.
