hello guys, im running a rainforest2 system with a 250 watt bulb.

the strain is power skunk from flying dutchman, and they all came from seedlings.

the ec is 650
ph 5.5
temps 28cº

290m3/h outake with filter,& 2 inside fans blowing at the plants.

The reservoir is the same since they were litle seedlings, so i havent changed the water yet.(i do keep the ec and ph regulated though)

The tap water here is about 400ec, so i usually put half distiled and half tap water in the reservoir in order to simulate a softer water.

I use ghe series of nutes, with micro hard formula.

JUst one other thing, the hurted plants are the 2bigger ones in the bunch, since they all came from seedlings, some took more time to grow.

what deficiency is this?
i tought about heat,or calcium

sorry but i lost my digicam charger :S

anyone knows what this is???

thanks

i dont know if you guys can see well from the pic, but its those beje patches, that start kinda dark...

plz someone help, they getting worse by the hour.

i already changed the rez and used the veg formula by ghe, 0.7ml per liter of flora series.

strain is power skunk from FD, and they were germinated in rockwool that was put on the system.

roots are perly white.

ph: 5.5
Ec: 950

they got those symptoms and i dont know whas hapening, its hapening majorly on the bigger ones, buts its spreading to all.

here is new pics, with the probs more evident.

i also have red stems on all plants affected, this is probably phosphurus right?

or the leafs dont match phosphurus?

thanks

oh and they getting worse...

why they getting worse if the ph is good for absorving P, and they have bloom from ghe in the water?

should iput more bloom formula in the reZ?

thnks

OKay i think i know your probz.

OKay i think i know your probz.

Pretty sure your over feeding those ladies. they're to young for that much nutrients. U said EC was 650?? That's crazy man. EC is usually read like 1.0 or 2.0. Are you sure your not meaning PPM? If that's the case your still over feeding. Try lowering the EC down to like EC 0.5 or PPM 350.

GL!

im sorry i just read it in microsiemens, its ec:0.9, and 0.65

but i cant be burning them , because the first ones to get this problem, were the biggest ones, the 2 smallest ones are the only ones who are still fine...

Im not any help but it looks a lot like the problem I have in a dwc right now. They started looking like this in the earlier stages, then they started rolling in to look like an upright taco. I havent figured it out yet and its pretty much consumed around 3/4 of the plant.

Maybe someone will chime in and have a solution.

today i tried to spray them with a fungicide i was give at my local hydro shop, the gy didnt knew as well what it was, but told me to raise the ph a bit, and spray that on them 2 a week to see if it works out...:S

1 plant atm is all screwed up, 2 more on the way, the smallest ones are fine and have nothing :S

plsz blest, if you find out what it is say so this is getting a critical delay, and its hard to have a hps during the summer here :S

sprayed them today multiple times with fungicide, until they got dry, and the symptoms persist and keep on evolving...
they curling over themselfs like you said, some leafs starting to look like tacos :S

ph was raised to 5.8/6.2
EC:0.85
very droopy leafs...
all efected leafs have a very soft texture...
Growth is completly stuned! (Blest your plats got growth stuned too???)

If this keeps up at this rate, there wont b any plants in about 1 week...
(blest how long are yours like this?)

Height wise they stopped growing. The clone is about 3 weeks old now. The problem started at the bottom of my clone and worked its way up to the top affecting only the fan leaves.

I havent been able to figure it out at all. I started out at str8 tap until the roots were showing, then I went to 300ppm,400ppm and then 500ppm. Theyve been at 500ppm for about a week now. So I dont think its nute burn. Also, my water temp has been at a constant 70 degrees.

Im at the point where Im thinking about cloning it and starting over, but I dont know if this problem is going to carry on to the clones.

i found out the problem, it was ph problem or a fungicide problem.

after i sprayed with the fungicide i also uped the ph.

my ph had been stable and under 6 since ever so it was probably a phosphurus mixed with a mg deficiency...maybe there fungus maybe not, try to do this in your system...

now i know i have to up the ph one day and lower it on the other cause my system is so balanced it doesnt fluctuate ph :S

thanks

maybe I need to check my meter today..I havent checked it in probably 2 weeks.

If its ph then my meter is out of wack..my ph has been in the 5.5-.8 range since the beginning.

yes but according to the ph chart, to feed the proper nutes to it,now i let it swing around the 6.2 and the 5.4...

i was doing the same thing as you, it was always within that range which made phosphurus and calcium lock out...i looked at the best absortion ph for the nutes and im trying to have the ph swing all over those optimum absortion numbers.

then i raised it for a day and i got the potassium lock out since its only absorbed at

now they much better, they growing, but they having potssium problems cause potassium wants a lower ph, but they still have the phosphurus def cause i can still see the red stems, even though they stoped turning dark.

ill place pics later on today, i finaly got my cams charger ;)
