HVAC Tech Needed!

Hey guys,
So I recently purchased a Friedrich breeze AC unit after hearing many good reviews from them. Installation wasn't too bad... all in all at the end of the day it got done. And I'm not much of a handy man at all so I was pretty siked about that.
Im running 4K in a 13x13 room sealed up... No Co2 as of yet but I'm noticing that what I thought was an oversized unit for my application is having a difficult time keeping the desired temperature. I'm running my lights at night and outside temps are only usually from 45-65 at the moment but are going to be shooting up in no time..
The AC Unit is a 24K BTU Friedrich...Heat pump, Low ambient kit..etc. I keep the set temperature on the remote to 70 and I have seen temps creep up to 86 recently which set off my high temp cutoff and killed power to the lights... The air the unit blows does seem cold but it seems that the internal fan inside is whats not cutting it. Anybody have an idea what could be going on? There is also supposed to be a blue light on the indoor wall unit when it has power and that is not on. Outdoor condenser fan is blowing when the unit is powered up.... Heres a shot of the remote and the settings I have it set too if anyone is familiar with the unit. 70 Degrees, Fan is on "Auto" which is supposed to hold your set temp... And Turbo mode is also on which is supposed to bring you to your desired temp as quick as possible. If you guys have any input that would be great! Summer is around the corner and I'm about 3 weeks into bloom and pretty dependent on this crop to make it by...... Having a tech inside is obviously not an option... Thanks guys :tip hat:
Ps. If anymore info is needed to diagnose this problem just ask.

With the lights on the indoor unit on, hit the temp button and see what it says. It should switch between what the set temp is and what the actual temp is. That way at least you know what the unit is thinking.

Where are you measuring the temp at? What kind of thermometer are you using?

What kind of air movement do you have going? At least a couple fans 16" or bigger?

Im checking the temps with my EVC-2 which probe hangs from the middle of the room about chest level. I have 4 16in wall mount fans and also 2 more box fans pointing up at the 2 vert 1k's that are in the room so there is def plenty of air flow... My high temp cut off on my light controller also reads temp too and it reads the same as the EVC-2 so I know its accurate. I need to check the temp using the remote controller when the lights turn on though..

Can you extend the thermostat at all that the mini split is operating from?

I installed a 3 ton Mr Slim by myself and noticed that I have to crank the remote setting down to around 70 just to achieve an average 80F leaf temp throughout the room.

Seems as though the indoor unit sensed the temp directly around it and would cycle off prematurely before the rest of the room reached cool temp.

I never got around to locating or extending my thermostat probe, but added a few wall fans directly in front and below the indoor unit and that seems to help quite a bit. I still keep my remote set around 73F to achieve a ~80F temp, but seems to maintain that temp.

This was using a 36k split (32k or so cooling power) in a sealed 6400w room. I've yet to try running a full 8k in there.

Mhm maybe thats it... I dropped the temp on the remote down to 70 when I was over but didnt have enough time before lights went out to watch it.. I reset max/min temp on the EVC-2 so I guess we will see in the morning....

Same here as FF. unit is on the "front wall", two side walls have wall fans and I have a couple thermometers on the back wall.

Temp differential is a about eight degrees between what the unit reads and what the thermometers read.

Can't check on my breeze for a few hours but I'm curious how low it can be set. If you can, turn it down to 65 and see how it does.

So I've noticed a very nice consequence to the unit reading a bit too cold.

With the lights on and AC set to 70, it stays at 78 with the lights on but when the lights go out it keeps it about 68.

Perfect ten degree differential.

I know this may sound like an obvious thing but it helps tremendously to have fans mounted near the head unit blowing the AC'd air across the room and fans opposite the head unit blowing back at it. At most I'll see a 4 degree diff off set temp. That 24k btu should easily handle 4k in bulbs...
You don't by any chance notice any water dripping from the head unit where the flaps are, do you?
