hi itisme
for seed germination and rooting of cuttings I try to maintain a humidity level of 90%, for the veg more than 50%, for flowering around 30-40%. my 2 cents
Ive had my humidity at 16%-20% in veg and my babies where suffering...as soon as i got a humidifier it jumped to 40% and they have been doing SO MUCH better...but ive read its suppose to be 50-70% in veg and below 50% in flower
in my Homebox the humidity in veg is 65%,in a flowering is 45-55%,but last days somethig happen and the humidity jump at 60-70%(flowering period)I don't know what to do.any sugection

in veg, over 50% is what i aim for. i used a cheap humidifier to achieve this, and the plants loved it. i like to have at least 1 osculating fan per light. an easy way to cheap them humid and happy in veg, without a humidifier is to mist them once or twice a day. just make sure to ph the water you use to mist or humidify.
in flower, i get nervous when it gets over 45%. i also do 1 oscilating fan per light, blowing on the canopy, and then i like to have some air moving under the canopy and above the pots.
i also like to have a good exhaust fan exchanging as much air as possible.
topping my plants also helped tremendously with bud rot, since you get more "top" buds smaller in size, compared to just 1 HUGE cola when not topped. cutting down on watering the last month is also important.
i tell you what, there is almost nothing more depressing than harvesting a healthy looking plant, trimming it, and finding bud rot in that amazing looking cola you've admiring.
in flower 50%, had some girls that could not take any lower, but some that like 35% of course temperature matters with respect to RH. really hot temps don't mix well with low low RH in my experience
but for early veg like week 1 I like nice and humid, around 80-85% RH for roots to be the focus of the plant in week one.
then I slowly like to bring humidity down to around 60% RH
and about a few days before flipping my girls get at 50% RH, then see what they can handle, but the last week or two it's ok to bring the RH right down to like 35-40% get the glands ozzing gew.
minor variations here and there for strains, but that's pretty much my schedule.
the skill of a grower would pay attention to this, it's not black and white peeps, look for lush growth and speed of internodes plus their internode spacing...
