Humidistat/thermostat

Does anyone know how to wire a humidistat and a thermostat in parallel. I am wanting to wire a humidistat and thermostat to an outlet to control an exhaust fan.

I agree. More info would make this easier. There are catchall answers involving relays or equiv, but there may be easier solutions.

is the humidity a big issue because you could just hook the dehumidistat to a dehumidfier and the thermostat to the fan

It's going to go in a 3' x 3' box so I don't have much room for a dehumidifier.

Are those the devices you are using? The thermostat has some useful info, but the humidity monitor does not.

I haven't purchased them yet... so I am open to suggestions. I was wanting to build a cheaper version of this:

The greenair product is not that much, but if I can save by making my own that would be great. Plus it is not available at any of the stores in my area and I try to use mail order as little as possible.

The thermostat your showing closes on temp drop, so unless your heating the space you need a cooling thermostat which closes on temp rise
