I am looking into getting a digital humidistat for my quest 155 dehey since it doesn’t have one.

I want to be able to have different humidity setting at lights on/off thus an analog honewell won’t do it.I have an autopilot green house master controller and iam not really sure if i should plug my 8 amp dehey in it even though it says that it could handle up to 14.5 amps.Only thing plugged in it is an 8 burner.

If that’s not possible what other digital humidistat would you all recommend?.

I really like this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076LMFRHG/ref=sspa_dk_detail_2?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B076LMFRHG&pd_rd_wg=MC47n&pd_rd_r=H4G5Y7AMKXFVDHQ1HMZA&pd_rd_w=0z0Nr&keywords=digital%20humidistat

I got the old version anyway, so many settings. It doesn't have a photocell though.

Maybe you could rig up one somehow, so it uses your stock knob setting, or bypasses through the digital\analog when a timer comes on?

Come on brain, work! ...Ok I've got it.

Remove your dial knob from the unit. Hook up an adjustable motorized actuator/servo (24volt?) to it. Plug it into a cheap dusk/dawn photocell timer. The ones with 1-8 hour dusk or dawn run times.

When the lights come on or go off, the actuator will come on and turn the dial on your dehuey for the amount of time you set on the timer.

Something like that..

Good luck!
