living up north i have to deal with very very low rh% (10-15%)

i have went threw a few different 30-70$ humidifiers and they all keep breaking or dont work for shit. so now i have 200$ here ready to buy a new one. looking at a bionaire one for large rooms that costs 109$ or the taotronics one on amazon for 100. it has a digi rh set instead of the shitty low med or high ones. what one do you guys use? any recommendations for a 4x4 tent? thanks guys!

i use PureGuardian. You can get it at Costco stores. It produces a ultrasonic mist. Rises the humidity in my 4X4 tent in an hour or so. Costco sells two sizes, a 1 gal. and a 2.5 gal.

Ultrasonic fogger pucks.

Pretty much any department store humidifier is bunkum for our purposes and require frequent refilling.

I have the taotronics nice unit, digital readout and all but only puts out a gallon in 12 hours so its really weak and cant keep the humidity up when it gets cold and dry outside. Last week I set it to 60 rh and it was struggling to keep it at 38-40 rh, this is in a 10x15 room so maybe a tent would be ok. plus I only payed 59 for it just a few months ago its not worth 100 watch those fluctuating amazon prices!

I bought the honeywell cool moisture humidifier for $69 is to replace the taotronics and it can get to low 60's rh running constantly puts out triple the moisture as it burns through 3 and a half gallons of water in about 12 hours. Most people seem to complain about the frequent need to change the filter and the cost of it 13-20 dollars every couple of months again watch those fluctuating amazon prices those filters were half price a week ago

This one works well, but W.W. Grainger has many others to choose from. This one has a good humidistat. I recommend pouring an ounce or so of 3% peroxide in the reservoir.

Are you running a sealed room? If not, I don't think you can expect to control RH.
Good luck. -granger

Que?

I live in humidity central ;)

Haven't found the need. Search around for a thread, there's a few. What sold me if I ever need one is they work in any size reservoir. A float valve and you're set.
