humidifier not working?

I just bought a humidifier and first I had it outside my cab and it didn't do anything, then I put it inside the cab and it's now at 29% humidity with lights off. what could the problem be?

Just a thought , but if I water plants in growroom my humidity goes up to 60% from a little run off. If watered outside room(which I do most of time) stays at 30 to 40%.

i'll start watering inside cab, but I dont' like to since water runs off from cup and gets on the wood, but besides that it's always in the 20's, now with the humidifer inside the cab it's at 30% with lights off

well, I guess it's working now, lights turned on about 20 min. ago and now it's at 36% humiidity

If you're in vegg, you'll need the humidity up around 60-70% if possible....Is the humidifier working properly....Fans blowing and things like that????LC

yeah, there is an osciliating fan inside and outside, humidifier is inside the cab, but it's facing the doorway, maybe if it's towards the plant it would work better, I gotta refill it with water so when I do that, I'll adjust the humidifier, is there a particular humidifer that you would recommend? they're all really the same thing right? I got one made by Vicks, and they had 2 - warm mist and cool mist, I chose cool mist since I didn't want to raise temps.

how much humidity is advised during flowering? veg. is going to be over by end of week

still not working, I don't understand I have a small cab 2x2x4, humdifier is inside cab right next to plant. here's a link to the humdifier,

all I do is fill it up with water and I put it on "high" and cool air starts coming through, when water is empty cool water stops and I refill, I don't think I'm doing anything wrong, and this is kinda expensive for something that doesn't work.

I'm going to try a hot towel method somebody mentioned, but I'm going to have to find something to put them in, since I don't want to mess up the cab.

Dnb; You should put the pots in trays and fill bottom with 1" of water every day. I didn"t know you are vegging. My flowering room is 30% with no prob.So check out todays pic of my just starting to go purp AK48
