humid and hot indoor nc grow issues

I just repotted to larger containers from 3 gallon to 7 gallon pots yesterday week 7 of veg and i am worried that giving them time to fill up with roots (2-3 weeks) will put me into flowering during the hottest months of the year in humid as fuck charlotte nc. i dont have and cannot afford temp control devices besides an inline exhaust fan iin already have in my 5 x 10 tent in an outside shed. should i just continue to veg to get through the next two months, then clone to time flowering in the gradually cooler months? humidity and temps are already climbing fast. i have two k5 xl1000 lights a couple of fans circulating air. i would hate to lose everything to bud rot and PM. suggestions much appreciated. outdoor grow is also not possible for the same temp humidity factors. thanks

a small ac unit is cheaper than buying weed.

I don't see a ton of options for you other than ac unit or DIY water cooled heat exchanger and a dehumidifier , not even an oversized fan will help you if outside temps are to hot and humid

If you push forward under those conditions just make sure you prune the hell outta them and get good air flow through the canopy, you can also use a sulphur burner. They work good but it will leave a smell in your buds that's undesirable

Do you run at night?
Could you just re cut clones now and that should set u up for better flowering temps?
How hot and humid are we talking?

vegging 2-3 weeks from a 3 gal to a 7? thats not leaving much room for the roots to grow during flower.... I'd give em 4-5 days tops from transplant to flower... just long enough to make sure you didn't shock em

i run GLR from noon till midnight and 1 hour on at 5 30 to 6 30. my thought process was that because humidity is so much higher from 1:00 am on that i would be better to have the lights off and plenty of air flowing during that time. the humidity outside is 60-70 daytime outside and at night/early morning climbs into the 90s. should i reverse my thinking?

Run at night for cooler temps. Consider the cost of a 10-12k window unit AC to the cost of crop loss from PM and Budrot. Also the cost of fungal remedies, labor, exposure. Good luck. -granger

I agree with granger. Your humidity @80 outside will only be about 70 in the room and that's perfect! Even if it's 80 sometimes it's not gonna ruin your whole crop, just be diligent with trimming , pruning and inspections. I'd take 80RH over high temps any day of the week. Air cooled rooms work best at night for keeping day/night temps close without extra heaters , added humidity Lights on and less for lights off, keeps you off peak power times and your neighbours can't see your dryer vent blown open 24/7 lol,

I fought high humidity in the summer for years n years! It sucked a big one. Lol. I ended up taking Granger2's advice on another thread and finally bought a $300 Fredrich dehumidifier and its freakon easy sailing now! With the built in water pump, I just set it and forget it! I have it in the hallway before lung room, while I'm exhausting tent into attic, and it still works better than awesome! I had my doubts about it working as well as I wanted, due to not being in a sealed room, but that thing is a beast!!

It's the 70 pint Fredrich dehumidifier on Amazon if you wanna know... :)

You gonna have to def get some ac in there though....might can get away with ac without dehuey

When growing indoors there is only one way and that is properly... Do what you gotta do and get that a/c!
