Call your local electrical supply warehouse they will likely have one in stock you can go buy or tell you where to get one .Bring the old one with you it will be much easyer than trying to explain it to the counter guy.If not yer gonna have to order it online

I've also been looking for a place to buy inexpensive ballast electrical components (transformer, ignitor, capacitor) in order to build some 1000Watters. The cheapest I was able to find online was HTGs kits. I'm thinking that an electrical supply place might have some for cheaper, but I couldn't find any... Anyone know about this?

I think that an electrical supply store is probably your best bet. Check the yellow pages and call around to check prices. Other than that, you might go to that famous auction site. They have a bunch of different wattage ballast kits and economic times being what they are, you might just find a real deal. Good luck!
