HP STADIUM - with 2KW HPS,,

Hello, I need some input on grow room desing,

I want to do a stadium like Northern farmer! I'm starting in about 2 weeks!! big rush!

I have 2 x 1000 hps
and 1 x 400 mh
my Room is 5x11 with a door 7" from the long end


questions:

1. is taking only 7x5 of the room big anuf?
2. Is a 400 MH alright to flower for a the flowering room? (if not what should I get!(fluo?))
3. AM I GONA FCK UP??? ( )

need a some Ideas also!!

Are you gonna fu#k up!! hmmm if you rush it you most lightly will i do not know about stadium but from checking out Nfarmer thread it alot of work and takes time to get right. You might want to include your room hieght thats what you are most concerned about with a stadium grow.

Are you gonna fck up---bet on it! At least on a small scale. Maybe worse. Is this your first time growing? If so, your really biting off a big chunk by doing a high volume grow as one of your firsts.

If I had something to suggest it would be to give yourself the very best chances at a good crop from the start by eliminating difficulties.

1. Get a line of ferts that has a chart with it...House and Garden, Techniflora, or Canna since there are so many here that use it.

2. Pick a popular strain that many here have grown such as AK47 or the likes.

3. Pick a grower-friendly medium --SOIL. You'll get buffering and slower reaction to fert or ph fck ups due to the buffering ability of the medium.

4. Read, read, read, read.

That's the best advice I can give ya bro. Good luck and keep us updated.

Well I can tell you this, Ive seen a 5 foot wide stadium for veg. Like NF said, Its pretty narrow. The one I saw was 5x4 stadium with a 600hps. There were 5 shelves on each side. and a couple on the front and back walls.
Not much room with 5 feet. 1kw is hot. I would think a stadium that is more vertically planned would be a bit more forgiving for the heat factor. Keep the plants on the small side, Prolly clones only. Give them some bushmaster or something to keep them from stretching, which will get them too close to the lights. Other than that, go basic, Reliable food and medium, Dont feed too heavy, a good strain and you will do fine.
